The relaxing bath I prepared for myself had quickly turned into another hour on the job. Bubbles tickled my skin as they popped against my legs, and the hot water was already beginning to make me sweat. I could easily fall asleep, but instead I had my phone whipped out accepting and denying different brand deals in my emails. Amari was usually my lady for that job, trying to find me the best, most profitable ones, but she's been ill with the flu all week, which got Mateo, my manager, stressing that i'd go bankrupt because I haven't signed a deal in weeks - which was totally not gonna happen.

Nothing good was really up for grabs nowadays; either bad money, the company was problematic, they are scams or the companies were in competition with my long-term brand deals - they were the best ones too, but I rather not loose my main money income just because of a better flavour, or new kind of body scrub. I groaned, leaning my head back to rest on the bathtub, I didn't care about the bubbles dampening my hair anymore, all I wanted was to feel somewhat relaxed while in the cycle of reading and scrolling.

Suddenly, I pounced up quickly after hearing what sounded like a bang coming from the landing outside the bathroom. I've been home alone this whole time and the cleaner never usually came round without a call. I swipe down on my phone checking the time, 6:32pm, my fiancé told me that she'd be back around eight for dinner. A quiet, almost silent squeal came after the loud noise. Now I started to regret not fully shutting the door, I lean forward trying to take a peak at whoever it was, and where they were going - and if I would mind them seeing me naked in a bathtub.

Footsteps now followed after the noise, i must be deaf if I didn't hear the footsteps entering the house in the first place. I don't try and cover myself when the bathroom door starts to open, I've accepted my fate.

Leigh-Anne stood looking disappointment at the doorway, "I tried to surprise you."

I raise an eyebrow and let out a chuckle, funny how my fiancé and my anti-anxiety pills looked the same, "what did you do out there?"

She held up her wrist showing me her skin, which was now turning a different colour, "bashed it on the railing."

I pull a face, "does it hurt?" I reach out to hold her hand, further examining the bruise.

"Kinda."

"What can I do?" she bites her lip in pain as I softly drag my thumb over it before kissing it.

Even without looking up at her eyes I felt them examining my body that was half dunked into the warm bath water. I shuffle forward, unintentionally sliding into a low pile of bubbles that now didn't cover my chest. Whichever memo she got: me sliding forward, or me exposing my body to her, she got it without words. Her bags were left outside the bathroom, so she got straight to undressing herself, starting with removing the simple grey jumper and then her joggers, leaving her underwear till the end, so she could slowly take them off and tease me a little.

My eyes followed her until I couldn't anymore, like they were glued to her figure and perfect skin. No matter how many times I admire her - undressed or not - I can never get sick of it, the stupid, giddy smile is always there. I noticed she didn't wrap her arms around me straight away, instead she picked up my phone, that was left open on my emails.

"What's this?" she asks, scrolling through the messages, "you weren't doing work in the bath were you?"

I sigh, "Mateo is freaking out, plus I wanted to get it done so I could spend time with you."

She kissed my shoulder lovingly, "I can help you with whatever it is, but first I need you to relax."

Her lips tickled my shoulder once more and soon enough I was like putty in her arms. My head leaned against her shoulder, her wet arms wrapped around my wet stomach and her legs were on either side of my thighs, squeezing them together. Parts of my hair were in between her fingers as she looped it around them before letting it go, starting on another strand. I looked up at her. She didn't see me staring, she was in her own world for a second, allowing me to really take in the beauty of everything.
