Like Inazuma kingdom, bells echoed through the kingdom telling everyone morning was upon them. I got up and rubbed my eyes. I got up an went to my wardrobe to pick out an outfit for this special breakfast for this morning. Ningguang sent a maid out to send a letter that there's a special announcement needed to be made the next morning, so I got my outfit on and grabbed my Messenger bag and headed down the steps to the dining hall. There was a lot of food this morning.
"Good morning Y/N! Hope you slept well!" Ganyu said to me as she spotted me walking into the dining hall. Keqing smiled and she popped a golden shrimp ball in her mouth.
"I did thank you! Hope you slept well too." I answered. "I didn't get much sleep since I was working overtime." Ganyu sighed. "I slept okay." Keqing said after Ganyu. I noticed in all of the glasses there was a dark red liquid, I soon realized it was blood. What was I expecting honestly? Ganyu sipped from her glass every five minutes or so. As Keqing and Ganyu were talking I was looking around the dining hall. Not much was there, sure it was pretty but it was all the same. "Hey Keqing, Ganyu?" I spoke up. They stopped their conversation and looked over at me. "So Ningguang sent this message to me that this was an important breakfast meeting, do you have any idea what it's about? Ningguang hasn't showed up yet and she said this is important." I questioned "I don't know anything, I got the same letter" Ganyu followed. "Me too." Keqing said. As we were talking about it as if she heard us Ningguang comes in.
"Good morning to you 3, I terribly apologize for keeping you waiting but since we have a new member of the Qixing I have decided to have the Ruler and Protecter of the Kingdom come in and talk to us once more. Just to get Y/N caught up." Ninggaung said.
As she finished speaking a tall male came in followed by a shorter male. The tall male spoke first.
"Hello, as you know I am Zhongli, ruler of Liyue Kingdom. Our goal is to wipe out the remaining humans of the nation, there are some in hiding so be on your guard." Zhongli said. He continued a little speech while I noted things here and there. After he finished, he gestured for the shorter male to start speaking. "Hello, I'm the protector of Liyue Kingdom. I am Xiao." The short male said. Xiao was beautiful. He had short teal hair, golden eyes and a good body. I would go and say he's pretty.
Zhongli and Xiao joined us for our breakfast.I was just starting at Xiao without knowing it. "Are you just gonna stare at me?" Xiao said, snapping me out of my daydream. "Oh my achrons I am so sorry..." I look away a bit red. Xiao rolled his eyes and went right back to staring at the floor. Xiao wasn't much of a talker from first impressions. He was sitting just looking at the floor like he didn't want to be here, which is totally understandable. I wanted to make conversation with him but again, he wasn't much of a talker. If anything I wouldn't even know what to talk about with him. We finished breakfast and Zhongli and Xiao took their leave.
"Hey Y/N, can I talk to you for a sec?" Keqing said to me as she pulled me aside. "I see you're interested in Xiao. You were literally staring at him." She continued. "No no! What! I was not!" I say looking away turning a bit red. "Mmmhmmm sure, then explain the blush on your face." I looked away saying nothing. "Okay I won't say anything but don't get your hopes up on seeing him ever again. He's never seen around the city. He's always at Wangshu inn but never for more the a few minutes or out protecting the land." Keqing said. I look back at her with a bit of disappointment. "So I'll just have to follow him!" You say "What?" Keqing says back, clearly confused.
