Immediately I got back to Nigeria, I called my mum telling her how afeez proposed to me. She was so happy for me she strated talking about wedding preparations immediately. Then, I told zulaykha the good news. She almost blasted my ears with her screams.

Congratulations girl. Am so happy for you. When is the wedding?

Calm down zulaykha he only proposed just a few days ago. We haven't said anything about wedding preparations yet.

When do I want to get married. This is a very big question. I've been thinking about it. Afeez birthday is in two months and I've been thinking of an amazing gift to give him. I think I've got the best gift ever.

I was back in my home in Kaduna. I sat in front of the mirror admiring myself. Rihannat did a really great job for my makeup. I got dressed in my native attire. It's my engagement ceremony today. Afeez and his family are all gathered outside together with my family waiting for my arrival.

My wedding dress was made by one of the best fashion designers in Nigeria. A lacey ball gown with diamond crystal embellishments. I stood in front of the mirror trying to hold my tears back so I wouldn't smug my mascara.

It's my wedding day. Am Finally getting married to the man of my dreams. I've gone this far and I won't back down. I was once a girl with a big heart and big dreams. Step by step am making my way to having my dreams come through.

My mum came into my room with tears in her eyes.

My first child is getting married. Am so proud of you my baby.

The Nikkah was held at the central mosque here in Kaduna. We exchanged our vows with so much love in our hearts. This is it my love there's no going back. Choose to be my husband and get to deal with my drama for life I said mocking him.

After that, the reception took place at the grand event center. My event planner did a hell of a job with the decorations. She made sure everything I wanted on my list was granted. How I wanted the hall to look. She came through for me.

Exactly how I pictured my wedding to be. The wedding of my dreams. All my family and friends were there to celebrate me. They all came through for me. This is the happiest day of my life.

Indeed my wife made a great choice picking south Africa for our honey moon. This country is amazing. Thier food, culture and most especially they have a lot of places to wonder for tourists like us.
