*First day of work
Mheerat
I woke up to the sound of my alarm. Last night before going to bed, I set the alarm for 5:00am. I can't afford to be late on my first day of work. I took my bath, said my prayers and got dressed in an ankle length black leather skirt, a white and black top, a pair of black heels and a black handbag. My hair was tied neatly with a white veil. I applied some foundation and blush to highlight my cheeks. A winged eyeliner and nude lips completed my look. A bowl of cereal is what I'll have for breakfast this morning. No time to cook.
I got to the office quite early. Thank God for that. I went into Mr Owolabi's office to get a file Mr Marcus asked me submit to him. I was looking for the file when mr owolabi walked in. Good morning sir I greeted him. Good morning miss Ibrahim. We have a lot of work to do today. I hope you're prepared? Yes sir I am. After I submitted the file to Mr Marcus, I went back into Mr Owolabi's office to get started. He had a call with the manager of EVERYTHING CROCHET and I had to record and take down keywords from the conversation.
After that, we headed to the fabric department where all fabrics were out into good use. I couldn't take my eyes off the wonderful outfits made by these designers. I imagined myself in one of those. It'll surely look good on me. From there we went to the hair and makeup section to make sure all the models were ready for thier shoots. I went into the studio to make sure all equipments were set and ready to use. I marked out the models who were to have photoshoots only and those who had to be on the runway. Then I went back to Mr Owolabi's office to make a report on all the department including those who needed some equipment and those who were doing just fine.
Indeed alot was done today. This job is quite stressful but that's what makes it even more interesting. I can't let go of it even if I only started working today. I was done for the day at around 6pm and arrived home at around 7pm. I got out of my clothes, took a shower and got into my PJs. I opted for a light meal in which I made pasta. I was laying on my bed when my phone buzzed with a notification. It was from Mr Owolabi...
Miss ibrahim we'll be having a meeting in abuja tomorrow. I need you to tag along. We'll take off in the morning.
I have to tag along. Am his P.A. I went into my closet, picked out a pair of gray trousers and a black skirt together with 2 turtle neck tops. By the time I was done packing, I went back on my phone. Surprisingly I found myself searching for the name Afeez Owolabi on Instagram. His profile is kind of boring. Just random pictures of meetings with clients. But when I scrolled up further, I saw pictures of him on vacations. This guy has been to so many countries I can hardly even count. But I noticed something missing in all his posts. There wasn't any picture of a lady and it got me wondering...
Is Mr Owolabi single?
*Afeez
I texted mheerat that we'd be having a meeting in abuja by tomorrow. I went into my closet to pack. I picked out a pair of black and blue jeans, a plain shirt, a white turtle neck top and blazers. As expected of a CEO. he's to wear a suit but am not just any CEO. I own the biggest fashion industry. My kind of style is in jeans or pants but never in a complete suit.
I went into the kitchen to make dinner. I love to cook. Something about cooking always makes me feel calm and happy especially after a long day at work. Tonight am making stir fried noodles and chicken. I searched through my kitchen and pantry picking out all the ingredients I need. Within 40mins food was ready. Not to brag but this dish looks amazing. It not only looks amazing, it tastes really good as well. My mum would be proud of me for making such an amazing dish. I was done eating and put the dishes into the sink.
I went on my phone searching the name mheerat Ibrahim on Instagram. She's a social type. Her post ranging from outings, to food, to lifestyle. I must say she's an amazing person. I didn't expect that she'd be able to pull off all the work we had today but she did. Even more than expected. Why do I think of her. Since the day I sighted her, it felt like my heart always beats faster whenever she's around. Nope it can be what am thinking. I haven't felt for anyone what I feel for her. She's unique in a very special way. I went to bed thinking of what tomorrow has to bring. I hope my stay in abuja goes well, and Mheerat's too.
She's different and I like that
