They arrived at the temporary living space for Eddie, they took Steve's car. Dustin and Steve carrying bags of groceries as Robin spoke about harbouring a fugitive with Cassie.  When they walked in they saw him with the same beer bottle in his hand. "Delivery service." Dustin said holding up one of many plastic bags.

"So we got, uh, some good news and some bad news. How do you prefer it?" Cassie watched in disgust as he stuffed the honey comb cereal into his mouth.

"Bad news first, always." he spoke with a mouthful. Cassie walked over to him taking the cereal.

" All right. Bad news. We tapped into the Hawkins PD dispatch with our Cerebro, and they're definitely looking for you." Dustin explained. "Also, they're, uh, pretty convinced you killed Chrissy."

"Like, 100% kind of convinced." Max spoke from the seat she was sat on.

"And the good news?" he asked.

"Your name hasn't gone public yet. But if we found out about you, it's a matter of time before others do. And once that gets out, everyone and their shallow-minded mother is gonna be gunning for you."

"Hunt the freak, right?" Cassie sat next to him, handing him a bowl of cereal with milk and a spoon so he could eat like a civilised person.

"Exactly."

"Shit."

"So, before that happens, we find Vecna, kill him, and prove your innocence."

"That's all, Dustin? That's all?"

"Yeah, no, that's pretty much it." Dustin shrugged.

"Listen, Eddie, I know everything Dustin is saying sounds totally delusional, but we've actually been through this before." Cassie said.

"They have a... a few times, and... and I have once." Robin explained. "Mine was more human-flesh-based, theirs was more smoke-related, but bottom line is, collectively, I really feel we got this."

"We usually rely on this girl who has super powers." Steve said glancing at Cassie who smiled slightly, remembering her adoptive sister El. "But, uh, those went bye-bye, so..."

"So we're technically in more of the... Brainstorming phase."

"Brainstorming." Steve clicked his fingers.

"There... There's nothing to worry about." Dustin spluttered. The sound of police sirens stopped their conversation.

"Tarp. Tarp. Tarp." Eddie covered himself with the tarp as they watched the police cars and fire trucks zoom by.

"You're saying that this thing that killed Fred and Chrissy, it's from the Upside Down?" Nancy asked as they sat at a table at the trailer park. There was another murder, Nancy's friend Fred and they spotted her at the crime scene speaking to the police.

"If the shoe fits."

"Our working theory is that he attacks with a spell or a curse. Now, whether or not he's doing the bidding of the Mind Flayer or just loves killing teens, we don't know."

"All we know is this is something different. Something new." Max commented.

"Doesn't make sense." Nancy shook her head.

"It's only a theory." Dustin spoke.

"No, Fred and Chrissy don't make sense. I mean, why them?"

"Maybe they were just in the wrong place. Were both at the game."

"And near the trailer park."

"We're at the trailer park." Cassie spoke as she watched around her. "Uh, should we maybe not be here?"

"There is something about this place. Fred started acting weird the second we got here." Nnancy stated. Everyone watched their surroundings anxiously.

"Acting weird as in...?" Robin asked.

"Scared, on edge, upset."

"Max said Chrissy was upset too."

"Yeah, but not here. She was crying in the bathroom at school." Max pointed out.

"Serial killers stalk their prey before they strike, right? So, maybe Fred and Chrissy saw this Vecman..." Robin stated.

"Vecna." Cassie corrected.

"Dunno about you, but if I saw some freaky wizard monster, I would mention it to someone." Steve spoke.

"Maybe they did."

"I saw Chrissy leaving Ms. Kelley's office." Max said.

"I saw her going in." Cassie stated.

"If you saw a monster, you... you wouldn't go to the police. They'd never believe you. But you might go to your..."

"Your shrink." Everyone stood up and made their way to the car. Except Nancy who turned the other way.

"Whoa, whoa, Nance. Nance! Where you going?"

"Oh, there's just something I wanna check on first."

"Something you wanna share with us?" Dustin asked.

"I don't wanna waste your time. It's a real shot in the dark."

"Are you out of your mind? Flying solo with this Vecna creep on the loose? No, it's too dangerous. You need... You need someone to..." Cassie's eyes bored into the back of Steve's head and suddenly he couldn't finish his sentence. "Here. I'll stick with Nance. Take the car, check out the shrink." Steve threw the car keys at Robin.

"Don't think you want me driving your car." she stated.

"Why?"

"I don't have a license."

"Why?"

"I'm poor." Robin said.

"I can drive." Max offered.

"No, never again. Please. Anybody but you. No." Dustin gave a small look. "No chance."

"This is stupid. Us ladies will stick together." Robin linked arms with Cassie as she took the walkie talkie out of the backpack. "Unless you think we need you to protect us." the girls looked at Steve with a menacing smile.

"Be careful." the trio walked to Nancy's car, Robin getting in the front and Cassie in the back.

"Cute. Girls trip."
