Here I am after signing my life away at my parents house I stand in my dads office with my twin brother " fuck off no I'm not doing it" I shout at my papa and he scoffs he slams the papers down on the table infront of me and my brother forces into the chair
" fucking sign them" I breathe heavy in anger " now" my brother shouts as he stabs my leg then puts a hand over my mouth to stop my scream " sign" my dad shoved a pen in my hand
I can't believe I'm doing this I sign on the contract as my brother pulls the knife out of my leg I stand up gnoring the pin and walk out of his office and upstairs I bump into someone
" sorry love" he grumbles I nod and carry on to my room I shut my door and go into my bathroom take off my slacks and put shorts on stitch up my thigh and bandage it then walk into my room and get suit cases and pack some of my stuff
And the door opens as I carry on " what happened to your leg" I turn around and see a 40 ish old woman she's pretty " fell off dagger" I say and she scoffs sitting on the edge of my bed " I wasn't born yesterday" I take a deep breathe " who are you again" I ask and she smiles at me
"Polly gray formally Shelby" I nod " your Emily right" I nod as the door swings open " Emily your boy -" Elias comes in " Emily we need to talk" I swollow the lump in my throat and nod " see you soon emily" polly says I nod as Elias shuts the door
" dad said pack your stuff your going tomorrow" I nod as he walks out I let out a breathe and I lay in bed for a while till I decide to throw on a hoodie some shoes and go down out the back door
And I walk over to the feild dagger is in a whistle so he comes over and I stroke is nose climbing over the fence and then get on him before we tried around the feild and then I hear voices
Dagger hears them too and then I see three men I race over " nice horse" Tommy says I nod as I turn dagger so they can stroke him the blonde guy laughs " does he have teeth" I nod smirking " yes he does" I say and the older one coughs " well let's go boys"
I take us out of the feild and put him in the stables feeding him I shut the door and walk towards the house but take a detour lighting my cigarette and I walk towards the lake I sit on the bench
And i see a figure I stand up as they walk to me and he comes over he passes me some snow I pass him some money we nod as I walk down the path someone grabs my arm and I elbow them in the face
" ow" he groans I sigh " what the hell" I say and he steps out from the bushes "any need" he says and a car drives past I push him against the wall
" shush" I say covering his mouth and it passes I sigh and I get off him and start walking but he walks beside me " your the one on the horse" I nod " my horse"
" I want it" I scoff at him as I walk down into the house to my room and dad comes out his office " great"no mutter
"Emily here" I walk over to him " you have to go to this meeting after you finish go straight to the Shelby house we will be there your settling in" I nod as I walk to my room
