We got back a few days ago and Emily's been warming up to us especially polly but who doesn't.
" mr knight how can I help you" I say as I walk into my office and he and Elias are sat on the couch I walk to my desk taking my jacket off
" where's Emily" Elias asks and I shrug " she could be with Polly in the cellar getting god knows what or in bed or in the den" I say and Elias laughs " why would she be asleep"
" she wasn't well the other week like really not well and they advised her to rest" he hums " well we got an idea why she's I'll" her dad says I nod looking over paper work
" she was seen at the place where babies get ripped out of womens stomachs" I don't look up because I see Emily walk in
She's wearing a jumper with some slacks and boots " a walking Jew is here for you" she says and Elias turns to her " hello little sister" she nods and walks out Elias goes after her and Alfie walks in mr knight is still sat here but stands up
" I want to speak to my daughter" I nod at him and he leaves
- I finally finish with meeting and walk into the den see some people still floating around " had to send Emily upstairs she is over working herself" I nod at her as we walk into her office and she sits down " did you know" I ask and she nods " she was so put together the when she went in and when she came out and she took it like it was the lightest thing in the world but obviously she's not well now so she's going the doctors tomorrow" I nod
"Will she be okay" I ask and I see polly smirk " yes she'll be okay Tom now she's up in your room out cold I think" I nod and walk upstairs I open my door and she is asleep her face is so relaxed I take off my boots and jacket blazer and her in next to her
I pull the covers over us and I feel her turn over to face me and her head is on my shoulder I move the hair out of her face and wrap my arm around her waist to run my hand up and down her back and she shivers
" are you awake" I whisper and I see her look up at me and hum " I am now your heavy footed" she says I chuckle at her half sleeping face as she looks up at me I lean down and kiss her she kisses back
Then she taps my chest for me to let her go her lips are as good as they look
She puts her head back on my shoulder and closes her eyes " did you speak to my dad" she asks I hum " yeah he was useless him and Elias said they wanted to speak to you did they find you" she turns over out of my touch and faces the wall
