I like to think that I've moved on
Except there are days like today
Where the summer heat reminds me
Of being in your arms so warmFor the pride that lives inside me
I like to think that I've moved on
But the ground I stand tall upon
Rests firm your tenderness and love"Time heals all wounds" Someone once taught
And all I have is time to waste
I like to think that I've moved on
'Cause time moves with or without meI'm certain I know what I need
Yet there's something pulling me back
Despite what nonsense my heart speaks
I like to think that I've moved on
