Oh heart, why doest thou linger in the past?
Thy days are gone that shall return no more
And nothing can undo what fate has cast
So why dost thou keep knocking at that door?Let go of what was meant to be goodbye
And free thyself from memories long gone
For though it pains thee, yet thou must comply
And find the strength to move quickly onRemember once thou hast felt love's sweet bliss
And tasted of its nectar rich and pure
And though the joy is gone, it's not amiss
For memories of it shall ever endureThus let thy steps be firm and free of fear
And bid adieu to what is no more near
