"Wait really, what is ruined?" He asked sheepishly and confused.
I looked at him sadly. "I mean, it had been over for us and I basically betrayed you by-"
He put a hand on my shoulder. "Fiora you thought I was dead and you were right for thinking that. None of this is your fault and you didn't betray me alright?"
"B-but"
He started to walk away, he put his hands in his pocket and sighed. "Looks like there's more drama again, I knew I should have destroyed EMBER when I had the chance."
"Are you coming back to Wellston?" I asked.
He went silent, he didn't say a word for a good minute until eventually he said "No, I don't think so. I didn't like it there, I preferred to be homeschooled again. I'm sick of all of this damn drama."
"But Wellston needs you and-"
"No they don't, they have you, John, Skyla and Seraphina." He argued.
"NO! WE TRIED AND YOU SAW! SANDERSON OVERPOWERED ME!" I yelled at him. "YOU CAN'T BE SELFISH ABOUT THIS!!"
"You think you can't, but you don't actually try. You all think you can't since only I saved Wellston city. Had you all realized your potential we would have been over this already but instead now we have all of this shit. You all hold yourselves back." He explained. "Like I said, I'm going back to the town I lived in, I'm done here."
I looked right at him and asked. "Then what about me? Why are you even willing to leave me behind?"
"Because, I myself bring a lot of drama to places cause of my history. I'm guessing whoever Sanderson works for wants my ability to complete him. It's best that I stay away." He sighed to himself. "Fi I can't let you hang around me anymore. What I did before agreeing to date you was a mistake. I had put you through danger and more misery after what happened next."
"But it was all worth it because now you're here! Emerson please don't leave me, I WANT to struggle through all of this if it means that in the end we can live a peaceful life you know?" I pleaded with him.
"Fiora, it's just teenage love. That's all it is." He looked at his arms that I could notice that there were several red marks on them. "I'm not the one for anyone, especially you. I'm leaving you alone for your own good."
He put the syringe with my ability that Sanderson took in my hand. He then closed my hand for me and sighed.
"But I don't care what you say, I will put myself through danger if it means-"
"No, just no. Nothing you say will convince me otherwise."
He looked at me and immediately turned his ability, he turned to Sanderson and picked him up.
They both disappeared.
My eyes started to hurt and I could feel that I was about to cry.
I wiped my face before I made a show and tried to get ahold of the fact that he left.
It's not FAIR! Why would he do this?! It's BULLSHIT I'm SICK of IT!! Why why why why WHY can't he just be with me!? IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH ME!?
