Kora's POV

I knocked on the receptionist's window. She greeted me with a smile so fake that I wanted to wipe it straight off from her face.

"I'm looking for someone. We're Agents of SHIELD."

"What?"

"Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division. The aliens division?"

"We do not have any aliens here. This is a proper school. Now get lost, cosplay-ers, or I'll call the police on you."

"We are the police, whether you believe it or not." My sis said with her 'serious' tone, which was completely useless.

"We need to look around. Do you have an infirmary or something?"

"I need a warrant." Ah. The old-fashioned warrant on a piece of paper.

"We operate outside of the law, unfortunately, and the president himself a[proved us of our mission."

"I don't believe it."

"The hard way it is." I said, grimly.

She didn't even have to say a single thing, as if we had telekinesis, she know what I was talking about. With a swoosh, the woman was knocked out.

"She should be out for quite a while for us to finish our mission."

"Let's just leave her alone here." I said, and Daisy picked the lock to the office door and it clicked open.

"Bobby pins always does the trick." She said.

"Stop gloating."

We walked into separate compounds; I headed right and she headed left.

I walked onwards, holding out my hand as a source of energy and enlightening the path. I crossed tons of classrooms, but I didn't see the infirmary."

"Got it." I heard Daisy say in comms.

"Where?"

"You should see a staircase to the right. Go down, go through the interconnecting bridge, and you'll get to me. Or if you're direction disoriented, track me through my tracker."

"I'm not stupid." I followed her instructions and got to the infirmary, only to find it locked.

"Pick the lock again." I said.

"That's what I'm trying to do!" She said, clearly annoyed at me, and the door clicked. There was no one in there.

"We've got the wrong place. Maybe he or she knew how to control her powers."

"That's literally not possible. I caused quite a rampage across the city when I first acquired my powers."

Suddenly, there was something like a small breath from somewhere near me.

"Kora, did you hear that?"

"Hear what?"

"That sound."

"What sound?"

"Never mind. I heard someone snorting."

"Probably me."

"No. It sounded like it was from a child."

"Do you think that it's the Inhuman?"

"Not, sure, gotta go and find it." We panned out and started to search the place. I pulled open the first blind and saw what I was looking for. It was a girl, approximately 7 years old, eyes closed in a slumber very peacefully. Her thick ringlets of dirty blonde hair lying around her in a circle. It almost reminded me of... Robin, my old friend with seer powers.
