'Submit? yes? or No?'

That question was all over my head, making no room for any other thoughts. I had to forget about this drama, about this life. I want to have fun, find real friends. And I don't know, maybe find love?

But first, I need someone else's opinion. Someone's advice.

There I was, laying on my bed, thinking on and on about white Bridge camp. On one hand, I wanted to go, to have fun, and have a new experience. But of the other, I couldn't let Monique be alone. Or maybe she could take care of herself, maybe it was me who didn't want to be alone. I mean, I have never been separated from Monique since mom died. And since then, dad has been leaving for business trips a lot more lately. So it was just the two of us, and Jess.

I need to decide, the deadline is on thursday. And that is when I noticed, today is wednesday! I have 24 hours to choose, Well, I guess that's enough.

Okay, I'm just gonna ask Monique for some advice, I need to stop overthinking.

-"MONAAA!" I yelled loud enough for her to hear and respond.

- "YEAH?" She said, responding almost immediately.

-"CAN YOU COME HERE PLEASE?" I said, opening my laptop and searching the web page on google. Ah, there it is, 'White Bridge summer camp'. I was checking it out now for the 5th time when I heard a gentle knock on the door.

-"What's wrong?" She questioned, a hint of concern in her voice.

- "Nothing serious, I just need your advise on something" I told her, patting a seat next to me on my bed. She smiled and jumped right on top making me bounce. I giggled a bit and showed her my screen.

-"what's this?"

-"It's a camp, a summer camp. I-I was planning on going bu-"

-"Then go" She interrupted, taking me by surprise.

-"But Mona, it's a million miles away from here"

-"And? This is your opportunity to have fun! You have never gotten out of the area, now you have the chance to explore a new territory!"

-"But, but-"

-"No buts, just come onnn, this is your one and only opportunity to have the most fun of your life before college!"

-"So then, should I submit the entry?" I asked, impatient for her response. I mean, it was my choice, but I wanted her to confirm too.

-"You know what? While you submit the entry I am going to go and make a few calls. I can buy you new cloths, and I'll help you pack up!" And by the look on her face, I could notice she was even more excited than I was. I smiled at her as she walked down the hallway to her room.

Meanwhile, I signed up again, seeing the same thing I saw yesterday.

I reached out and clicked the 'yes' button. And it instantaneously took me to a new webpage, telling me, 'Congratulations! You got in White Bridge summer camp!'. Yayy! I was starting to get really excited about this idea.

Two days later...

I followed the list of materials that the webpage suggested we took to our trip. By the time I got all the materials needed on top of my desk, Mona came in with 3 suitcases, opening all of them on the bed.

I put all the materials inside one suitcase, and my clothes in the others.

Okay, everything is in the right place. Good. As I said before, I am a control maniac. So I get easily stressed if something is out of order. Wait a second... The sunscreen is supposed to go with the creams! Not with the skincare! Ugh, Monique!

We were leaving in... 10 minutes?!

-"Monaaaa! we need to leave like right now or we will miss the bus!" I yelled, starting to get down the stairs, packed with 1 back, and the 3 suitcases. Mona came up the stairs to where I was, running, and helped me with the suitcases.

After we had packed everything in the car, I sat down in the passenger seat, anxiously putting my seatbelt on. Mona closed the trunk and got inside the driver's seat, looking at me, exhausted, smiling.

-"You got everything?" She asked me, turning on the engine, instantly turning on the radio with it.

-"Yeah, I guess so"

-"Where's the confidence?" She asked, smacking me in my arm. I laughed for a while until she started driving off. I looked out the window and sighed in relief.

-"White Bridge summer camp, here we go..."
