Chapter 18- Ring any bells?

I woke up to the sound of the birds singing, a rhythmic melody. I groaned and stretched, getting up from my bed.

I walked up to my closet, gently opening it, without making a sound. I searched for my sport cloths all around the drawrers and hangers. Nothing. I got inside the bathroom and checked the laundry. The cloths were there but they were still wet.

I guess the wisteria indigo shirt and some leggings will work.

I got out of the cabin, starting to jog towards the forest. That was until I saw something odly peculiar. I noticed Thomas, sitting down on a log, watching a dead bird on the floor. Uh, creep.

I noticed him turn around and looking at me, shocked, As if he had just saw a ghost.

Brooke, don't. Don't go there with him. He's a fucking creep!

But my instincts told me to.

-"Hey... Thomas!" I fakely exclaimed, almost sounding sarcastic. He just looked at me with the same shocked expression.

-"B-Brooke, y-your here"

-"Yeah-" I looked around, I noticed it was just him and I, in this big silent place. We were both alone in the forest, and the sun hadn't rose yet so it was dark. Making it even more creepy. "Hey uh what are you doing here?"

I noticed him starting to get nervous, as he quickly looked around too, turning his head so fast that I'm surprised he didn't break his neck.

-"Are you on your morning run right now?" He avoided my question, weirdly smirking at me. There was an uncomfortable and weird atmosphere right now. How the fuck did he know about my morning runs?

Right now if any boy smirked at me that wasn't Dean, I would cringe. Dean's smirk was just- too much to handle.

-"Look at the time! I need to go, sorry!" I quickly ran up to my log, as fast as I could, without looking back.

When I got there I quickly locked the cabin door and ran up to the bathroom.

I picked up the phone from my back pocket and typed Dean's number. Flicking my fingers unpatiently on the phone. Come on... pick up...

-"Liv?" Hearing his voice just made me feel more comfortable, getting rid of all the gothic energy that Thomas had with him. God, his voice was so Husky, so deep. And sleepy. Fuck, did I wake him up?

-"Oh, I'm so sorry Dean, did I wake you up?" I wonderd, although I already knew the answer once I heard a fustrated groan on the other side of the phone.

-"Its okay. What's wrong?" I wanted to tell him, but then again, I knew Dean would literally smash his head on the ground by the second he heard those words come out of my mouth. So I just came up with the most random thing I could think of.

-"So, my birthday's coming up..." I started, making Dean stay silent, letting me continue. "I-I would like to celebrate it with everyone, next to the lake. I don't know, we can ask the monitors for a free day or s-something?"

-"Yeah, sounds good to me" His sleepy voice just made me feel bad by the fact that I just woke him up.

-"Okay, sorry again, bye!" I hang up before he could say anything and my cheeks immediately heated up in an instant. Ugh Brooke, your so embarrasing.

I shoved my phone onto my pocket and continued running. But before I could go any further, I yelped at the fact that I felt someone's sweaty hand harshly placed on my mouth; stopping me from shouting.

I alarmed. I tried to scream but it was useless. I felt my heard beating increasignly fast.

I tried to attack but I couldn't move. I tried to turn around but before I could clearly see who it was I felt something hard smacking against the back of my head.

I now weakend, I felt my body colapse. And my eyes were now forscibly shut. All I could feel was an overwhelming pain, coming from my head.

Dean's P.O.V

I placed my phone on my back pocket, getting up from the bed. Ugh, I'm so fucking tired. I didn't get much sleep last night, I couldn't stop thinking about Liv.

Last night I checked her instagram. She is so beautiful. All of her posts are of her posing in different places, Italy, Greece, Spain. She travels to Europe every year apparently.  In everyone of her posts her beautiful green eyes are filled with color, making her face stand out more.

I yawned, getting up from bed. Now I was ready to go so I got the keys and walked towards Liv's cabin.

I knocked on the door and waited to see her beautiful face pop out of the cabin. But it wasn't her who opened the door, it was Abby.

-"Hey" She said, scratching the back of her head. I think I just woke her up.

-"Is Liv here?" I unpatiently asked, excusing myself inside, looking around her cabin.

-"What's the hurry?" She asked, closing the door behind her.

-"Nothing, I just haven't seen Liv in all morning. Well, she did call me this morning but I am suspecting she's hiding something important from me." I shruged, worry written all over my face.

-"Here, let me help you find her" She said, getting her coat and keys.

We both exited the cabin as we walked towards the lake. To a place where she's normally at, to 'hide-out' from the monitors.

Nothing. She wasn't anywhere at sight.

Some time later we called Lucas, Jonah, Ben, Scarlett and Emily to help us find her.

-"This is useless, we looked everywhere" Jonah spoke, filling the silence.

-"I vote to call for help" Scarlett says, raising her arm up in the air, looking at all of us.

-"Where could she be?" Lucas asked himself, but loud enough for us to hear. He starting typing something on his phone.

We then heard loud footsteps running in our direction. We all turned around and found a friend of Brooke's. What was her name again? Meh, who cares.

-"I know where she is"
