(her outfits are in the picture above :)
I woke up, yawning. Turning off my alarm. I looked around and saw everyone else sleeping. The light of the sunrise hitting inside the room. Making it feel so, cozy, I don't know. It looked like the definition of 'summer mornings'.
I slept so well. I always do when I'm surrounded by nature. It's the first day, and as the control maniac I am, I already did a calendar.
Day 1, wake up at 6:00, go for a run. 6:30, shower and get ready. 7:00, wake up the girls. 7:30, go to breafast... etc.I tip-toed up to the door, where I got out to the porch. Slowly shutting the door behind me.
The sun was hitting my face now, the sky was in a beautiful shade of orange and pink. I closed my eyes for a second before tying my hair up in a ponytail. I headed out, jogging my way up to near the lake. God, it felt so relaxing to hear the sound of the birds singing and the trees dancing. This was perfect. I needed this.
I took a turn and suddenly noticed something on the floor. It was a note? I peaked my nosy ass in what it put in that note.
"Day 73, I still hold on. But not for much longer. I need to see you, Caroline
Ja-"
Aww, cute, a love letter. Or shall I say, a love note? It must be very old, due to the fact that it is broken and burnt. I couldn't see who had signed off the note. I only saw it said, 'ja'? The name is cut off by a piece of burnt.
Well anyways...
When I returned from my morning run, I got into the bathroom and had a nice, cold shower. I then got out of the shower and dried my hair. I looked at the time on my phone. 7:06. Oooppss. I headed out of the bathroom and started clapping hard so they could all hear me.
Yesterday they asked for me to be their 'alarm'. To wake them up. Well that's what I'm doing now.
-"Wake up, sleepy heads!" I said, loud enough for them to hear me perfectly. All of them started groaning in fustration. And one by one, they all stood up, got changed, and did their makeup.
I never liked to do my makeup. I mean, I just put on some mascara daily, but nothing else. When I went to parties, I did put makeup on. But that's an exeption.
-"Ready" I heard Abby say as she stood infront of the door.
-"Me too" Said Scarlett, coming out of the bathroom looking at her phone.
-"Me too, but wait, one question. Do we need to leave our phones here?" Emily asked, before I nodded and she let out a big sigh. I giggled a bit and headed out the cabin. 7:25, perfect.
When I locked the door from the cabin, we stood in our front porches, waiting for the clock to hit 7:30.
I couldn't help but take a little sneak peak at the cabin next to ours. I looked at one of the windows and accidently saw a guy without a shirt. He was turned his back, so I couldn't really see his face. Until he turned around. It was meanie. But wow, meanie had a perfect six pack with perfectly muscular arms. He was laughing about something, which made me smile. I don't know why. Why the hell did he look so sexy without a shirt on? And laughing at the same time. His hair was wet, which made me even more nervous.
-"Brooke, Hello? Are you listening?" Abby questions, taking me back to reality. I looked back at her and nodded.
-"Yeah, it would be great" I said, making all of them burst out in laughter. I laughed too.
Some time later we were all in the cafeteria, eating breakfast. The food was actually really good. During breakfast I exchanged a lot of looks with meanie. He didn't look so meanie. God, I have to find out his name. Scarlett, Abby, Emily and I were exiting the cafeteria, when all of a sudden I asked Abby a question I know I'm gonna regret later.
-"Hey, um, do you know that guy? The one wearing the black shirt and blue swimsuit?"
-"Duh, he is the guy living in cabin 22, next to us, why?" She asked, raising an eyebrow and with a smirk on her face.
-"Do you know his name?" I asked, unpatiently.
-"yeah, he's Dean Spencer. He's hot, but look at Lucas Spencer, his brother. He's so, so, arghhhh" She said, making me laugh by her gestures.
So, Dean. That was his name. Alright. Cute.
We then did some activities and headed to the lake. I was sat down in the grass, staring at Abby, Stacey and Emily play in the water of the lake. They looked like they were having so much fun. Coming here was definetly a good choice, thanks Mona.
-"Hey, Brooke, come here! Swim with us!" Emily said, smiling at me whilst Scarlett started splashing her. I giggled and took my shirt off, then my shorts. I was left there in a bikini. I spotted Dean with his friends in the wodden walkway, on the river. He was checking me out. He was literally checking me out.
I ran down the wodden walkway and dived into the water. Making an impression to Dean and his friends.
-"GERONIMOOOO" I heard Scarlett say, jumping right on top of me. her elbow landed in my head. I found myself drowning. I was sinking into the water. When I came to the realisation that I was losing air. I started to panic. I tried to swim up to the surface, with all my strength. But I was already deep in the lake
Oh no, not the first day, please.
I heard some screams and I suddenly felt somebody's arms on both of my shoulders, pulling me up to the surface. By the time I reached the surface, the guy placed me in the grass. I let out a long chunk of water, and caughed for a while. I looked up to see who had saved me. It was Lucas Spencer. Wow, I totally did not expect that. I continued caughing, putting a hand on my chest.
-"Oh my god Brooke, I am so sorry!" I heard Scarlett say. But my head was in burning pain. She literally crashed her elbow on my head. I could barely hear anyone or anything. Just my heart beat. It was fast.
I suddenly felt my body falling to the ground. I hit my head again against the grass and closed my eyes.
I could only hear my heart beat getting slower and slower...
