Sal's Pov:

"I need to get him here, now" I say, Larry is standing in front of me and the rest of us is sitting in my room. I haven't spoken for a while so my throat feels rough. The others were discussing what we found. Apparently most of them, if not all missing person cases out of Nockfell from the last 20 years were caused by Mrs Packerton. But I don't care about that right now. All I could think about was Travis and now I made a decision. I'm gonna get him here already, tonight. Everyone looks up to me, since I've been quiet this entire time.

"No freaking way! His whole family is involved with that damn cult, haven't you heard Mr Packerton? This is more reason not to trust him!" Larry is immediately outraging.

"Larry, he is a victim of the cult, he's not involved with them! I thought his father was just a douchebag but this is a whole new level of danger. He can't stay there!" I stand up and now I'm the one outraging. Today is too much fucking emotion and I'm tired of it.

"Larry, Sal is kinda right. Travis has done a lot of shitty things, but this is so much bigger. We need to help him, even if it's just for the sake of stopping that fucked up cult" Todd throws in.

"Oh, great, now you're taking his side?"

"Okay, how about everyone just calms the fuck down?" Ashley's talking now, "this is still a human life we're talking about. I don't really like Travis as well but we can't let this happen"

Larry takes a few breaths, probably realizing that he went too far. He then says, in a calmer voice: "I don't wanna let him die either and y'all know that. I just don't like the idea of having him around constantly."

"Larry, please, just trust me. He's not gonna hurt anyone, I talked it out with him" I say and place my hand on his shoulder. My head is spinning from all the emotions mixing together. Going back into that apartment and the worry about Travis are making me sick.

"I trust you but I don't trust him until he gives me a reason to" Larry sighs, "text that motherfucker that we're getting him in ten minutes. I'm coming with you."

I hug Larry and quickly take my phone out of my back pocket.

Sal: travis? i'm picking you up in 10min, come out of your house

Travis: It's 11pm Sal, no way.

Sal: i really can't argue right now, just fucking do it

Travis: You're such a weirdo. At least tell me what's going on?

Sal: i will, when you're here. come outside and wait. don't let anyone see you

Travis' Pov:

I put down my phone next to me and get up to pack my things. Seems like I'm sleeping over at Sal's again. What does he even want? He seemed pretty serious. Normally he texts with all these smileys and shit. After I packed my backpack, I make my way down the stairs. I try to be quiet but I don't really care. My mom won't stop me from leaving the house.

As I sit down the stairs in front of my house, I can already see Larry's car race down the street and stop abruptly in front of my house.

"Did I already tell you that I fucking hate your driving style?" Sal hisses and I can see that Larry is the one driving. They're sitting next to each other, both smoking a cigarette. Sal's prosthetic is lifted slightly so he can reach his cigarette to his mouth. My heart sinks and I hesitate to get in the car. I get along with Sal now but Larry? This is something completely different.
