Backstory Time!

Melony woke with a start. She looked around and saw she was in a large room with a burning pile of logs in the middle and surrounded by doors. She stood up and walked over to one of the doors and gently pushed it open to find three watermelons sitting in chairs around a table. One wore gray fedora, another wore a black female Asian wig, and the third wore a pink bow tie and held a baby bottle. They all turned to her ominously.

Fedora Melon: YOUNG MELONY! HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN ABOUT YOUR PARENTS!?

Wig Melon: YOU NEVER WRITE, YOU NEVER CALL!!

Baby Melon: Waaahh, Melony forgot about us!!!

Melony: What? I don't have parents... Well, there is the Watermelon Man-

Her thought process was interrupted by the melons throwing rocks at her.

Fedora Melon: BAD DAUGHTER!

Wig Melon: NOT EVEN A LETTER!

Suddenly, the baby melon turned into a BLU Spy and stomped towards her with a sword. Melony quickly shut the door before any harm came to her. She ran to another door, trying to find a way out, only to four humanoid axolotls in business suits, which only served to creep her out rather than wear her down. As she ran to another door, she saw a mirror. Curiosity got the better of her and she looked at it, only for her reflection to change into a demonic form similar to when Axol was possessed by Zero.

Mel0ny: Someone is a little sussy baka desu here...

Melony jumped back and the room around her changed. Now she was in a smaller room that seemed completely red with corrupted versions of her friends all around her. The corrupted version of Tari crawled towards her and bumped her leg, startling the deity girl. She rapidly spun her head around, seeing all of them making their way to her, then she looked up and saw the burning wrecks of the Apollo and the Enterprise, both their crews lying on the ground dead instead of corrupted. Not able to bear it anymore, Melony tried to run for the exit, only to be faced with a Corrupted Bob with frighteningly realistic eyes. She screamed and ran down the hallway to her left. As she entered a dark doorway, only then did the creatures' pained moans stop.

Melony ran into a large room that seemed to resemble a cathedral. She paused and placed her hands on her knees as she tried to catch her breath. When she looked up, her eyes went wide. There, standing in front of her with his back turned, was Axol.

Melony: A-Axol?...

She stared at him in both shock and fear.

Axol: You let me die.

Melony: No! I-I was trying to save you but...

Axol finally turned his head to Melony.

Axol: But you didn't...

Melony: No... but... I *Sniff* I've been trying to become stronger so-

Axol: YOU? STRONGER?!

He fully turned around and pointed at Melony.

Axol: You can't even control your deity powers! You're weak...

He walked towards Melony as she fell to her knees and began to cry. Then, her vision became glitched and Axol transformed into his possessed form.

Ax0l: And your weakness killed me... just like it'll kill all your friends.

Melony: No! Please... I'm sorry...

She fell forward onto her hands as Ax0l stared disapprovingly at her.

Melony: I'm sorry...

Suddenly, Ax0l grabbed her by the throat and held her up as she began to choke.
