Zero to Hero

Everyone stared in shock at what just happened. Kirk almost fell out of his command chair in horror. When Eldritch Zero made a gulping sound, they knew it was over.

SMG4: N... no...

Mario: MELOONYYYYY!!!

Eldritch Zero laughed before looking behind him and seeing the Guardian Pod ship lifting off the ground.

SMG3: HE SPOTTED US! I'm getting us out of here!!!

Sulu: Orders, sir?

Sulu's voice was able to snap him out of his trance.

Kirk: GET US OUT OF HERE!

Using both the maneuvering thrusters and the impulse engines, the Enterprise lifted off the ground.

Spock: I am detecting more damage to the ship.

McCoy: Oh great! Just what we need!

Kirk: What is it?

Spock: It appears that when we ascended, loose rock tore off the bottom of the deflector dish. As a result, shields are barely functioning at 10%.

Kirk: That'll have to do. Sulu, get us out of here! Full impulse!

Both ships blasted away from the universe fragment as fast as they could. Eldritch Zero grinned and followed them, quickly decreasing the distance between them.

Uhura: Captain, SMG1 and the Apollo are hailing us.

Kirk: On screen.

SMG1 and Captain Hale appeared on the Guardian Pod ship's monitor and the Enterprise's view screen.

SMG1: GUYS! Finally, we thought you were goners!

Michael: We were able to extend the range of our comms, but you didn't answer when we tried to check in.

SMG2: Are you all okay?!

SMG3: NO, WE'RE NOT OKAY! SMG0 JUST KILLED MELONY!!!

SMG2: WHAT?!

Michael: My God...

SMG1: We're so sorry... B-but we need you guys to get out of there now!

On their ship, SMG1 and 2 were transmuting memes from a box into a Meme Energy bomb.

SMG1: There's no way to close the box... so we have to blow up the whole thing instead!

SMG2: SO GET OUT OF THERE QUICK! YOU ONLY HAVE A FEW MINUTES BEFORE THIS BOMB IS AT MAXIMUM POTENCY!

SMG3: OK, SMG4! LET'S GET OUT OF HERE!

But 4 didn't respond.

SMG3: ...Eh-SMG4?

SMG4: ...Destroy it all...

Mario became worried for his friend. Meanwhile, Eldritch Zero had caught up with the Guardian Pod ship and the Enterprise.

Kirk: EVASIVE MANEUVERS!

Eldritch Zero tried grab the ships, but SMG4 and Sulu expertly dodged the attacks, with SMG4 even flying through Eldritch Zero's horns like it was a video game.

Kirk: Try and lose them in that asteroid field up ahead!

The two ships flew towards the asteroids, dodging them and a couple of Anti-Memes nearby. Eldritch Zero grabbed an Anti-Meme and threw it at them.

Kirk: Fire aft phasers!

Chekov quickly aimed the aft phaser array and fired, destroying the Anti-Meme and temporarily disorienting Eldritch Zero. Almost immediately after, Mario threw his hat like a boomerang and hit Eldritch Zero with it.
