The Threat Returns

Kirk's eyes shot open. He looked around and saw he was back on the bridge of the Enterprise in his command chair. The rest of the bridge groaned as they woke. Kirk pressed a button on the armrest and called down to engineering.

Kirk: Status, Mr. Scott?

Scotty: The shields took the brunt of the damage, so we should be able to give you impulse power in no time.

Kirk: Good, I need you to take an engineering team to SMG4's ship and get it fixed.

Scotty: Captain, I cannae guarantee we'll be able to do much. The ship's something we haven't trained for, and with how confusing the Echo System is, I dinnae know if the ship's more advanced or primitive than the Enterprise.

Kirk: You have your orders, Mr. Scott.

Scotty: *Sigh* Aye, sir.

Scotty: *To Self* Sometimes I wonder how the bloody hell he became the captain of a starship.

Back on the bridge, Kirk ended the communication.

Kirk: Uhura, have a security team meet me in Transporter Room 1.

Uhura: Aye, sir.

Kirk: Spock, Sulu, with me. Chekov, you have the bridge.

Chekov: Aye, Kaptain...

They walked over to the turbolift and headed for the transporter room.

Everyone stared in terror as Melony lifted her head and looked at them. Then, Niles made himself visible to SMG0.

Niles: Hey, Zero, how've you been? Ready to get back together?

SMG0: N-Niles, you don't need to do this! Look! We got our old universe back. Everything's perfect again!

Niles: Perfect!? You call this floating rock in the middle of cosmic nothing 'perfect!?' No. We need to join back and finish what we started. WE need to get our full universe back-

Mario cut him off by kicking him in the face and sending him flying into the wall, causing his apparition to disappear.

Mario: Mario's not the smartest person in the room sometimes. But Mario knows enough to say that you need to shut up and let Melony go.

Melony laughed and stood up with a crazed expression, but Mario stood firm.

Melony (Niles): Wait your turn Mario, I'm still gonna need an Avatar after all this.

Then, Kirk busted through the door with Sulu, Spock, and seven security officers armed with phasers and phaser rifles.

Melony (Niles): Oh good, you finally decided to join the party. This will make things so much more fun.

She shot forward and knocked Mario into a corner, knocking him out. SMG3 was shocked, and before he had time to react, Melony knocked him into a bookshelf. She then teleported in front of him and raised her sword to deliver the killing blow, only for SMG4 to run up behind and grab her.

SMG4: Give Melony back to us!

Melony simply grabbed SMG4's head and slammed him into the floor.

Melony (Niles): I think four SMGs is a bit much, don't you? Why don't we cut it back a bit?

She raised her sword, ready to strike down SMG4. Suddenly, she was bombarded with phaser fire as Kirk and his team shot at her.

Melony (Niles): Cute.

She rushed at them and swiftly incapacitated the security officers before turning her attention to Kirk, Spock, and Sulu. She went for Spock first, only for the Vulcan to expertly step aside. Before she could try again, Sulu blocked her with his fencing sword and Kirk shot his phaser. Now sufficiently frustrated with the Starfleet officers, Melony threw Sulu into a wall, breaking his sword in the process, and charged at Kirk. She knocked the phaser out of his hand and grabbed him by the neck, pinning him to the wall. Spock attempted to use this opportunity to perform a Vulcan Nerve Pinch, but Melony smacked him against the wall nearby.
