IT WAS the next day and I was wearing a black crop top and grey sweatpants again. I was up on the satellite disk with Erik, Hank, Charles, and Sean. Sean was going to practise flying again and I had the same simple job as yesterday, catch him. "And you truly believe I'll this time?" Cassidy asked, taking deep breaths.

"Unreservedly." Charles replied truthfully.

"I trust you and you." Banshee pointed at Xavier and I.

"I'm touched." He sent him a small smile.

"Thanks." I chuckled, standing beside Lehnsherr.

"I don't trust him." He then pointed at Hank, who seemed a bit offended.

"Say nothing." Charles ordered quickly.

"I'm gonna die!" He yelled after a minute.

"Wh- All right, look, we're not gonna make you do anything you don't feel comfortable-"

"Here, let me help." Erik stated before pushing him forward, making Sean scream his head off.

"Oh, fu-"

"Erik!" Xavier scolded and we all looked down. Eventually he did fly with success. I looked at the two older men, who were looking at one another.

"What?" Lehnsherr scoffed, "You know you were thinking the same."

"Yeah, he probably was." I nodded, jumping down and catching myself again with my powers. I began walking back to the house with my hands stuffed into my pockets. I opened the door and was met with Alex coming down the stairs.

"Hey, Hottie, where were you? I was getting lonely around here." He pouted, stepping over to me.

"I was making sure Sean didn't die." I responded, patting his cheek and turning to my right, walking to the kitchen with him following.

"You'd rather do that, then spend time with me?" Alex scoffed as I entered the room.

"Yeah, anyone would say the same." I chuckled, opened the fridge and grabbing a coke. I hit the tab on the counter, using my mind to float it into the trash.

"Wow, Winters, just when I thought my charm was working." He exclaimed, being fakely offended with a hand on his chest.

"You wish. You want a sip?" I asked, holding the drink out to him. And in response, he took a swig, handing it back. "How was training this morning?"

"Absolute ass." He groaned, leaning back against the island.

"Did you miss the target?"

"Twice."

"Wow, Summers." My eyes widened, and I faked a shocked expression to tease the mutant.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." He rolled his eyes, placing his hands in his sleeveless hoodie pocket.

"You'll get better, Alex, it takes time." I reassured him again, rubbing his shoulder and placing my drink on the counter. He sighed, taking my hand in his, lacing our fingers together.

"I hate time." Summers commented, rolling his eyes to which I giggled at. He lifted our hands up to his lips, kissing the back of my palm gently.

"I know." I sent him a small smile and said in a baby voice, "D'you want a hug, Hotshot?"

"Is it bad I do?" He mumbled, locking our eyes.

"Depends." I shrugged, going on my tiptoes and snaking my arms around his neck in a hug. He automatically circled his hands around my waist. I never realized how warm the mutant was until now, he was like a human heater which made the nickname 'Hotshot' work even better. I felt him bury his head in my shoulder and take a deep breath. I began playing with the hair on the back of his head, pecking his cheek.

To fall in love with someone, is to feel like you've known them your whole life.

Maybe that's what I was feeling, I mean we've gotten so close in the past half of a week. And I don't know how long we stood like that, hugging, for but the sun began setting at some point when we let go. Right now, I was in my room after I had just taken a shower. Suddenly someone knocked on my door. I turned the handle with my mind and opened the door, revealing Raven in her natural blue form.

"Hey, Raven." I smiled, turning around, my back to the window I was looking out of.

"Hi." She smiled in response, stepping in the room and closing the door behind her. Raven then laid down on my bed, seeming tired.

"How was today? You seem tired." I asked, sitting down beside her, perched up on the headboard.

"Long and boring. Erik said I shouldn't have to hide anymore." Mystique sighed, throwing her arm over her eyes.

"Well, you shouldn't." I nodded, agreeing wholeheartedly with Erik on this subject.

"You think so?"

"Yeah, I mean, it's whatever you prefer though." I shrugged my shoulders, believing she should feel comfortable in whatever form.

"I know, but anyway... What's with you and Alex?" She questioned with a smirk, sitting up and turning to face me.

"You're the second person to ask me that." I laughed lightly, running a hand through my damp hair. "There's nothing there, Rav. I just know him the best out of everyone in this house."

"Sure, 'nothing there'." She rolled her eyes.

"What? There isn't!" I chuckled, hitting her knee.

"I'll bet you 15 bucks you'll kiss before the end of this week." She bet. It was currently Monday today.

"Deal." I smirked.
