Raine woke up with a gasp. Air refilling her empty lungs. Blood circulating from her once very un alive body.

Raine Summers was never known to be an angry person, but she also wasn't supposed to be alive, so it wasn't surprising when she almost punched the mirror when she saw her reflection. She was alive.

Her body was no longer cold and very dead like Edward Cullen, and her face held a faint blush from blood rushing through her system. She was pissed.

Though she had many questions, her main one at the moment is...

"Where the fudgenucklesticks am I?"

"This is definitely not my room..." Raine said while standing up. "Hell, it looks like an 80's magazine threw up in here. Not that I mind." She muttered to herself.

Looking around the room, she noticed many old band posters, an ancient tv, and a fat stack of money on a bed.

"What's this?" She asked while picking it up.
"Some kind of 'Sorry we fucked your death up' gift?" She basically hisses towards the ceiling.

"Okay, its okay. I got this. Just got to figure out a location or even date maybe. I mean I look the same age as I died, so it can't be too long after..." She reassured herself as she headed into the kitchen.

The kitchen had the same vibe as the bedroom. Very outdated.

"Ha, A calendar! Call me Sherlock Homes bitches." She joked while walking up to it.
"You've got to be kidding me."

Rubbing her eyes to make sure she read it right, she stepped closer to the calendar.

"1983. So I did read that right, ha..." Raine slapped her head.

"ARE YOU FUCKING SHITTING ME?!"

*Ring* *Ring* *Ring*

"Oh come on!" She huffed.

"Hello?" She said as she answered the phone.

"Raine? I'm so glad you're at home." A happy older woman spoke through the phone.

Raine had no clue what to do. Should she hang up, or play along? This was all too confusing for her. She was just dead for gods sake.

"Uh, yeah I am. What can I do for you?" Raine answered nervously.

"Well I have some plans to hangout with my girlfriends, and I was wondering if you could watch dustybun for me? I think you're old enough now being that you're 16 and you do live right next door so..." The older woman asked her.

Wait a god damn minute... Dustybun? Why does that sound so familiar?

"Raine? Are you there?" The woman asked interrupting her thoughts.

"Oh yes I'm still here. Yeah... I will." Raine answered reluctantly.

"Oh that's great! Thank you so much!" The woman exclaimed.

"No problem. I guess i'll start heading over there?" She meant it as a statement but it came out more like a question. She never could say no to people.

"Wonderful! See you in a jiffy then!"

*beep*

"Who the fuck says jiffy... Oh, right..." Raine sighed.

"So i'm somehow alive and stuck in 1983, somewhere in the U.S, my name is still Raine, and now I have to babysit some kid. Great." She said with a fake smile.

Before heading over to the lady's house, she looked in her surprisingly full closet and threw on a yellow sweater, some mom jeans, and matching yellow converses.
