"So how are you?" Teddy asked me the next morning at breakfast. I shrugged. I had gotten a good sleep, I had woken up okay, but something was lingering at the back of my mind. Haunting me almost.

"I'm meeting the new inmate today." Teddy chuckled and shook his head.

"Inmate?"

"This place is a prison, basically. We're all in here for doing something illegal."

"True. So who are they?"

"A girl named Ashely Ortiz. She's coming at lunch. I need to meet her in things office."

"Nate's office?" He asked. I nodded. "What's going on with you and him?" I shot a glare at Teddy, as soon as our eyes met I looked down at the table and shook my head this time.

"Nothing. Nothing is going on between us."

"Oh, you just seem like you always need him, then suddenly you can't even say his name. Did he say something?"

"No, I'm seeing him later anyway."

Later came quickly and before I knew it, I was walking toward Nate's office to meet the new girl. I hope she was nice. I'll be able to get on with her if she was. I knocked twice before hearing Nate's American accent, allowing me to enter. I walked in with a friendly smile on my face, but inside I felt differently. I really didn't want to be here and I did want to meet Ashely, but I'd also like to be in my dorm. By myself. "Hey. Where is she?"

"Downstairs." I nodded and awaited Nate by the door.

We made our way downstairs, close to the reception and as we got closer I saw the crowd that had gathered. This girl must be different. I didn't have a crowd. With Nate assisting we made our way through the bunch of people and got to the front. And that's when I saw her.

A girl around 5 foot 5 stood there. Ray bands on her eyes. Blue hair, a cotton candy blue to be exact. I walked closer, I was behind Nate so I didn't get a good view but her hair made it impossible for her to go out of view. "Hi Ashely." Nate said. I couldn't see what her eyes were doing, but I'm pretty sure they rolled. "I'm Nate. I'm going to take you to my office and we' get these handcuffs off you and Nora will show you around. I stared at her, she had piercings. A lip one and a nose one too.

"Let's go." She said, her accent was too American and sounded confident.

Half an hour later I was ready to leave Nate's office with Ashely Ortiz. I walked slowly down the corridor, I rubbed my arm as I was nervous and tried to stop the awkwardness. "So..."

"Be quiet. I don't want to talk to you, just take me to my dorm."

"Right okay." I rolled my eyes and took Ashely to her dorm which was close to mine.

I went to my dorm and found an unexpected visitor. Dougie Smith. "Hello? Dougie? You okay?" He sat there on my bed reading a magazine.

"Yes, I'm waiting for Harvey and Amber, they said they'd meet me here."

"Okay." I sat on Amber's bed and watched as he waited.
