CHAPTER NINETY FIVE: 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐓
▬▬▬❦▬▬▬

     OCTOBER 9TH.

A month passed into hiding and we kinda got used to the camping lifestyle. All we needed was food, water (for drinking and for hygiene) and anything to keep our sanity. We took turns wearing the horcrux and the effect it had on us was mildly showing some negative traits.

We had to keep ourselves distracted due to our shortage of food, everything we had packed were only our clothes and some small things for emergency. Our food deprivation almost made us weak, but Hermione adjusted our food hunting schedule and instead of once a week, we did it twice a week.

We fully expected Draco to lose his mind at first, because we thought he was never used to living like this. But he assured us that he's always been put on a diet and that this was very much normal for him.

It was the same for Harry but he was also confident he's going to be fine, having to live in the Dursleys for most of his life made him capable of surviving a famine.

Out of the five of us, Ron was the one who's struggling. This man has a huge love for food and would die if he wasn't munching on something in the middle of the day.

Well, we were always there to distract him when he's feeling hungry again.

We kept track of the forest while we looked for small towns around, looking for food and necessities. All we had were mostly bread and eggs, Hermione's anxiety got worse whenever we'd get eggs from farms.

But we made sure to leave money for the farmers.

  "So where next?"

Harry's voice broke me out of my thoughts. We were currently round up on the table, planning our next move for this month.

"There's no other place we could go to without being spotted by Death Eaters, Potter. Unless we exclude the Muggle world." Draco spoke, keeping his eye on a book he borrowed from Hermione while keeping a straight sitting posture.

"What about Albania? Dumbledore told me that was where You-Know-Who spent years of exile." Harry said, his eyes lighting up at his idea.

"Yeah, let's go to Albania. Shouldn't take more than an afternoon to search an entire country," Ron remarked sarcastically.

"There can't be anything there. He'd already made five of his Horcruxes before he went into exile, and Dumbledore was certain the snake is the sixth," Hermione said firmly.
