CHAPTER NINE: 𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐃𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐂𝐇
▬▬▬❦▬▬▬It was now the day of Quidditch, my first one to be exact. We woke up to cold weather, again. I wore a raincoat with my scarf, I'm wearing leggings underneath.
"It's cold as ice." I huffed as I walked out of the common room with Hermione. She showed me her umbrella, which I didn't see earlier.
"Incase it rains, I brought an umbrella."
I turned to Harry and Ron who were waiting for us outside. Harry's wearing his Quidditch uniform.
"You know, Harry, you're pretty much asking for a death wish. Playing Quidditch in the middle of a storm? You're crazy." I shook my head as Hermione agreed with me.
"I can't get out of the team, won't I? Besides, I've been almost killed for the past two years now, not to mention, Voldemort's still plotting on my death." Harry said, making Ron gasp at the mention of Voldy.
"Why is Dumbledore agreeing with students to play Quidditch in the middle of a strong weather, anyway?" Ron scrunched up his nose in distaste.
"Because Hogwarts is the safest place that exists." I said, hiding the lace of sarcasm from my tongue.
"Come on, we don't wanna be late for the game." Hermione spoke as we followed her to the Quidditch pitch. We slowly climbed up the bench as the wind almost blew my scarf away, it was a good thing I held onto it.
Hermione, Ron and I decided to sit closer to the bench next to the Gryffindor Quidditch Team so we could support Harry closely.
It was Gryffindor versus Hufflepuff. I glanced as I saw Cedric Diggory standing near the Hufflepuff team. He was more attractive in person. Oh my God.
I was startled when Hermione snapped her fingers in front of me. I turned to her with a frown and she gave me a teasing smile.
"Staring at Diggory, aren't we?" Hermione wiggled her eyebrows.
"No! I mean, who wouldn't? He's hot." I nodded. Hermione shook her head with a laugh as it was announced for the game to start.
I kept an eye on Cedric, it was really weird seeing the pink flush on his cheeks when all I could see was Edward Cullen.
I just wanna scream "Cedric, where the hell have you been, loca?!" but it would be awkward because no one would get the reference.
"I swear to Godric Gryffindor, this hair wouldn't stop even when cut!" Hermione said, pushing her hair flying on her face in agitation.
I grabbed an extra hairband and gave it to her.
"Thanks, Nico."
I rubbed my arms together when the wind became more strong, and I could feel droplets of water on my skin.
