Wedding day. Wedding bells were ringing. Everyone was busy in the wedding activities. From arranging everything for the 'shraddho' to making everything ready for the 'dorar xaaj', everything was going smoothly. Abhi was somewhat gloomy. He was not smiling and blushing like a dora. But, no one took notice of him. Aahi was also present there. She noticed sadness in Abhi's face, but couldn't ask him what was going on, as she was somehow controlling her emotions. She saw him going upstairs to his room.
"Oii Aahi, baba kot o? Taak bisari aase sobe."
Abhi's mom said.
"Khuri moi maati diu roba. Tumi tension noloba sun. Okon boha."
"Toi e je mor khobor loiso. Mor nijor suwali jonire khobor naai. Fashion di ase bhayekor biyaat."
Aahi smiled and brought her something to eat. She then went upstairs to call Abhi.
"Oi, tok sobe bisari aase. Bol tolot."
He turned around. She saw tears in his eyes.
"Pagol holi nki? Kio kandi aso?"
She wiped his tears.
"Naai konda moi. Mor khali beya lagise."
"Moi janu toi ketia kando, ketia nakando."
He wiped his face with a handkerchief and made this dhuti a little better
"Mok ketiyao eri najabi deii Aahi, please. Tor alawa mor lyf t kuno naai beh."
"Ghoiniyera aahibo nhoi."
"Never above you."
Tear rolled off her eyes. She took him downstairs.
