The wedding activities were done and the bride groom were taken back to the house. Abhi helped Aahi's mom with the indoor activities' arrangements. The whole environment was cheerful and happy, whereas the bride was weeping the tears of melancholy.
When the indoor activities ended and everyone got ready for the vidaai, Aahi went to her mother,
"Maa...."
"Ko maa..."
Her mother replied, fighting back tears.
"Eta kotha kou? Beya nupuwa jodi?"
"Hmm, ko sun..."
"Moi jonmo houte ketiaba mok beya paisila neki? Mane dhora ketiyaba mok kobaat pelaai thoii ahibo mon goisil neki?"
"Dhett paagoli! Ki kotha ko toii? Xontaan bhogobaanor aaxirbaad. Jetiyaai pua jaai akuwali lobo laage. Xokolu iman bhagyobaan nohoi..."
Aahi got her assurity. It was a blessing from god. Her child must be a blessing from god, she thought. She hugged her mother. Her mother bursted out crying. Aahi didn't have any tears left to weep. She already lost everything from her life, even she almost lost her life too.
1 month later......
"Geet, maa hotok kothatu koi diya bhaal neki?"
Aahi asked Geet about the news of pregnancy.
"Hmm moio bhabisu kothatu. Jimane deri hobo, xondeh baarhi jaabo."
"Ebar Abhik xudhi suatu bhal hobo neki Geet?"
"Nalage diya, eneo beya napai xii kole."
Aahi didn't try to argue with him. She took the phone in her hands. She dialled her mother's number and clicked on the call button. Her mother picked up the call after 3 rings...
"Aahi, bhale asone? Ghorot naaho neki?"
"Jaam roba maa. Eta kotha kobole he phone korisu."
"Ko sun."
"Maa, moi pregnant. "
"Ki??? Oo mor suwali tu! Iman dangor hoi gole oiiii. Ooo heri, xunisene....."
Her mother called her husband to break the news. She was in the nineth cloud. After a while, when she realized that Aahi was still on call, she said,
"Ohh toi aso e dekhun."
"Hmm aasu."
"Xun maa, bhalke thakibi. Godhur bostu nadangibi. Besi kosto hua kaam nokoribi, bujiso? Moi aaji e naamghorot ekhon thogi dim de."
She cut the call before Aahi could say anything. Aahi again looked at Geet and said,
"Bohut happy maa... bohut...."
She started crying as soon as she said those words. Geet held her by her shoulder and said,
"Sob happy Aahi. Tumi, moi, mor family, even tumar family! Amar ghorot eta notun member aahibo! You can't imagine how happy I am!"
"Ejon manuh nohoi happy."
Geet didn't say anything for a while. After a while of silence, he said,
"I understand that eitu taar bacha! But, you can't surround your life about his feelings. And I am sure, xiio bohut happy."
Aahi looked at Geet. He smiled at her. She smiled back.
Back at Aahi's house, her mother told Aahi's dad to bring sweets. She rushed into Abhi's house and told Abhi's mom
"Oo bou, xunisene? Amar Aahir bacha hobo!"
Hearing her voice, Abhi's mother came running from the kitchen and said
"Ki kua he Anjali! Bor bhal khobor dekhun!"
"Hoi bou. Moi aaji namghorot ekhon xoraai dim buli bhabisu. Mor logot ulabo sun!"
"Ohh ulam diya. Pise mithaai ana akou!"
"Euu ani aase robo. Rakhi kot?"

Talking for a little bit, Aahi's mother returned to her home. While coming home, she met Abhi in the front.
"Abhii, ahila ghorole?"
He took off the helmet and said,
"Oo khuri, aaji xunkale aahilu olop. Aakou jaam roba."
"Ohh. E heri nohoi. Amr Aahir bacha hobo ouu. Paarile juwar aagote eta mithaai khaai jaaba sun. Amar suwalijonir jibonot olop xukh aahise, tare karone."
Abhi got the mini heart attack, but soon realized that they thought it was Geet's child. He faked a smile and said,
"Jaam diya, Aahir khatirot."
Aahi's mom went home and prepared for the xoraai. Her dad brought a lot of different sweets from the market. Everybody was happy...
Abhi called Geet, after he took his lunch.
"Hello Geet, bhale asa?"
"Ohh hii, aasu roba bhale. Tumi?"
"Asu asu."
........
"Baaru, eta kotha aasil."
"Hmm kua."
"Aahi bacha huar aagot guwahati ahibo ne ebaror karone holeo?"

"Hmm hmm, jaabo. Moi 4 months pisot Belgium jaam. So, taai tatei thakibo for the rest of the pregnancy. "
Abhi's face lit up. He was beyond happy. He said,
"Ok Geet!"
"Xeibuli akou mor bachar besi close hobo try nokoriba."
Although Geet said it sarcastically, Abhi was hurt. He didn't say anything more and cut the call........
