They reached the bride's house. The bride's side of the family were waiting for them in the front of the house. Abhi got nervous and held Aahi's hands. Aahi couldn't control her emotions anymore and started crying. It was all messed up for her. Abhi realised that his touch made her cry. He slightly loosened her hand. As he was trying take his hand from her, she grabbed his hand and kissed on it. Both smiled soberly. All of them got out of the car.
"Aioo, amar doratuk imn dhuniya laagise, aji juhi baa ekebaare premotei pori jaabo."
Bride's sister said.
"Chup thaak. Jikono xomoyotei jikono kotha koi kio thako."
Her mother scolded her.
The dora entered the house and sat on the mandap. It was the time when the bride was to be called to the mandap. Aahi had to go with Abhi's 'bou' to invite her.
The bride went out to the mandap. Abhi's bou, rakhi called Aahi.
"Ifale aha sun Aahi."
She went near her.
"Ki hoise Aahi kua sun mok."
She was startled.
"N... naai naai... eko hua naai."
"Aahi, moi jaanu sob. Mok kobo paariba."
She became emotional. Tear started rolling down her eyes. She started crying. Rakhi hugged her.
"Bou, moi nuwarisu. Mo.. moi bhobai nasilu moi je enekua feel korim. Bou, moi etiya kenekoi thaakim?"
She broke down. That was the first time she revealed her feelings. Rakhi was holding her tight.
"Upaai naai Aahi. This is life. He has to move on"
They sat somewhere far from the mandap as the wedding activities went on....
