"Abhi"
Aahi looked into Abhi's eyes, while resting her head on his arms.
"Hmm"
Abhi said, with his eyes closed
"Aami kiba bhul korilu neki?"
Aahi said after a while. Abhi looked at her.
"Kio?"
Abhi planted a kiss on her forehead.
Aahi said
"Eko nohoi de."
She got up from bed and wore her clothes. Abhi was looking at her, wrapping her shirt and tying her hair.
"Aahi, you are safe with me."
She turned and looked at his eyes. She saw genuine emotions in his eyes. She smiled and went to her room.
When she reached her room, Rakhi was in deep sleep. She untied her hair and slept near her, with the greatest smile on her face.
The next day, Rakhi had to wake Aahi up from her sleep. When Aahi woke up Rakhi asked
"Raati kot aasila?"
Aahi was stumbled. She didn't know what to say. She said
"Huh, n... naai mane mor tuponi ohaa nasil karone baahirot aasilu."
Rakhi didn't interrogate her anymore. Abhi woke up very early and went to his home. When Aahi looked for Abhi, Rakhi said,
"Abhik bisarisa? Xii ghorot gol puwaai."
Aahi didn't say anything. She looked down and went to the bathroom.
In the afternoon, Aahi's parents returned home. Aahi went outside and helped them to bring the luggage inside.
After they got freshened up, Aahi's father said.
"Heri, eta kotha. Tor karone ejon donor paisu. Mama hotor kaaxote ghor. Lorajonor tor logot jodi sob mili jaai, sage xii dibo."
Aahi heard and became very happy. She hoped that everything would go well. But, then she asked
"Deka manuh jone akou mok liver kio diye?"
"Nai, lorajon bhaal biraat. Moi koute xii e kole mili gole dibo buli."
"Kintu, poisa?"
"Poisa r sinta koribo nalage. Jaa, toi saah ekap bona. Moi akou Abhi r ghoroloi goi o kotha xaar kobo aasu."
She went to the kitchen to make a cup of tea. She couldn't believe that her problems were getting solved so easily. She felt calm in the storm of her life.
After Aahi's dad sipped his tea, he went to Abhi's house.
He said to Abhi's mother
"Oo heri, baidew kotha eta hol nohoi. Amar eii r karone donor ejon bisaari paisu. Xii amar eitke olop he dangor hobo. Aahir aitake akou mok kole xii bule bor bhaal loratu. Xikarone saage taair biyaar kothaao aagborham buli bhabisu."
Abhi was hearing from a distance. He was in disbelief. He didn't want his relationship to end just before it would start. He came out of his bedroom.
"Kintu khura, taik xudhise jaanu?"
"Ohh Abhi dekhun. Taaik aaru kihor xudhu etiya. Taaik pise nokoba. Nohole taai omanti hobo."
"Kintu khura....."
"Abhi, khuraai kiba eta decision loise, bhalor karone loise. Tor maat maatibo logiya naai."
Abhi's mother stopped him.
He didn't say anything and went to his room. He got a call from Aahi.
"Hello Mr."
His eyes were filled with tears, hearing her voice. He couldn't utter a single word. Aahi again said,
"Abhi, xuniso ne?"
He said.
"H... hm. Ko."
"Ki hol tor aakou?"
He wiped his tears. Aahi again said
"Gom paali ne? Detaai tohotor ghorot kiba kobo goise de."
"Hm xunilo."
"Abhi, moi baasi jaam, jodi sob thike thake."
"Hmm"
"Abhi....."
He cut the call and switched it off. Rakhi was watching him from a distance.
