Pain, the scratches from the ever growing woods cover my arms. The school year starts in less than a week. I think. I'm tired, when you don't sleep properly in two months that tends to happen. I finally see the log I slept in on the first week in the woods. I know exactly how I'm going to return. At 8 O'clock precisely all the newbies will have been set into there houses. When the last bell chimes I'm going to walk in and faint, making them feel guilty. Them meaning those who weren't expelled after my disappearence.

From what I heard, Carmen and Sophie were suspended for the rest of the year. I smile at the thought of their faces. How much fun it was scaring them.

Its the first day of school and I'm waiting by the door for the clocks to chime. Ding, I hear the first bell. Dong, that's 2. Ding. Dong. Ding. Dong. Ding. As the final bell goes I steady my self and storm in, face furious. As expected my hunger abides me and I faint at Dumbledor's feet.

"Shadow, Shadow wake up, please wake up" someone is sobbing at my side. I hear several voices:
We should have believed her
How can we make it up to her
If only she would wake up
"Shadow, Shadow? Please!" A strange feeling falls on my lips, someone is kissing me. I open my eyes and see blonde white hair. Draco. I kiss back, so he knows I'm awake, then slap him.

"Hey!?" He looks down at me but I sit up instantly. "You deserve it" I try and stop myself from shouting. He shoos the other people away as he looks at me. "I'm sorry, I should have believed you. Your dad he... He" he looked at his arm. "I would hate to say, I told you so but.... I told you so" I laugh and try and get up. Draco's eyes are trained on me, watching for a hint of hesitation.
"Draco I know you think you can make it up by smiling and laughing and putting it behind us, but you can. I spent 2 months in the dark forest with no ones help. I'm gonna just start again. Face this school like its my first year." I can feel my eyes welling up. I pick up my trunk which someone pushed next to the hospital bed and walk up to slitherin dorms, Draco only a foot behind.

The first thing I notice is that everyone is staring at me when we go down to dinner. Am I really that interesting. Even the teachers are looking at me. Draco sat next to me no matter how much I protested, and insisted on dishing my food up for me. At first I think he is genuinely sorry, but then I realise it's Draco Malfoy I'm talking about. He doesn't feel sorry. No- he is looking for something. A way out of my dads bidding. That seems logical enough.
