Shadow Riddle: A Harry Potter Fan Fic

The lessons

We made it to McGonagall just in time for the bell with Crabbe, Goyle and Carmen just behind us. We sit on a table. I'm next to Draco and Carmen "I want you to copy the rules of Hogwarts into your journal. The back note page. The rules are in the front of these books" Miss McGonagall passes round old books with folding backs. "You may talk. BUT not too loud." She the writes a note in a book then turns into a cat and sits on her desk.

About 20 minutes into the lesson, Harry and Ron run into the lesson. "At least McGonagall didn't catch us." Ron sighs as Miss turns back human and tells both of them off, making Draco and his monkeys snigger.

After McGonagall's lesson we had potion making with Smiley Snape. Well that's what Carmen and Sophie call him. Us three sit on a table and start talking. "SILENCE!" Snape calls as he walks in to the room. He went on a rant about potions then picked on potter but apart from that the lesson was pretty boring.

We head to the dining hall to have our snack and mail. The owls start flying in and dropping parcels. Firepuff flies in and over my head, dropping a massive box, the width of the table, right in front of me.
"What's in it?" Carmen asks

"I have no clue" I answer

"Well open it then!" Sophie squeels.
"Okay, okay." I say wripping open the brown paper. There was a big cardboard box with a note strapped to the top. It read: Use what is inside to do my deed. Talk to squirrel and find the key. Do your deeds and you will get the reward from me.

"Who's it from?" Susan asks.
"I don't know" I lie. Its from my farther

"What's inside?" Carmen pipes up.
"Fine" I pull of the lid. There is a new wand (mine had broken) which was black with a purple marble handle. It also had a green and black cape. Invisibility cloak the label said. There was also a black goblet, incrusted with rubies. I start hauling the box up the stairs.

I place the box under my bed and pull out my new wand and the note: talk to quirrel and find the secret

After last lesson I walk to quirrel's Class room and knock on the door. "Ah, shadow we thought you would be coming"
"We? Professor Quirrel"
"I will explain but not here. Follow me"

He takes me through his office down some stairs into a small room. I see a mirror to the side of the room.

"Let me speak to her" a wisp voice says behind Quirrel. He starts undoing his head wrap. I don't understand until I look in the mirror

"Dad" I wimper

"Yes darling. Its me. Did you get my parcel? The wand and cloak?"
"Yes. Here" I show him the wand. "Thankyou." I say trying not to cry.

"Dear girl what is wrong"
"I haven't seen you for 10 years. Its just so strange to meet you finally."
"Yes. You look just like the little girl I know. Shadow I have a job for you. You must promise to do what I say"
"Promise."
