"Dammit! How in the hell am I supposed to find anything?" I exclaimed to myself while I was driving. "Give a girl some mountains, something!" I blew out a frustrated breath and looked down at the directions my Mother had given me on how to get to the house.

It was my mother and my father-to-be's engagement rehearsals atBaguio. I had gotten off at the right exit, turned left, gone down four miles—I had gotten lost.

One of the traffic lights turned red, giving me minutes to glance around for landmarks. Spotting a Dunkin' Donuts and a small insurance company, I picked up the phone and called my Mom.

Her phone rang several times and went unanswered. Of course it did, I thought. My mother's probably busy prepping up for a dress rehearsal and later's Rehearsal dinner. I really don't get why they have to have this silly event just a night before their actual wedding.

A rehearsal dinner is actually a pre-wedding ceremony in North American tradition, usually held the night before the wedding ceremony.

The guests generally consider the couple to be married and others who form the wedding party, but may also include extended family and out-of-town guests.

The supposed-purpose of the rehearsal dinner is for the relatives and friends of the bride and groom to meet and have a good time.

Shaking my head as the light turned green, I reached down and re-examined the directions. Carefully glancing down and back up at the road, I caught my fatal mistake and had missed a turn off.

Looking for the nearest street where I could turn around, I swiftly got back on track and within ten minutes finally pulled up into the long drive leading to the house.

Expensive cars littered the drive and the paved area surrounding the Summer Three-storey house of the Llanzas. My trusty little Honda Accord did me justice and got me from one place to the next, and I decided it was just as good as some over-the-top gas guzzler.

I parked the car and got out as people were walking around outside. Just as I started to walk up the front steps leading toward the house, a voice I would recognize anywhere called out to me.

"Meg, You're late!"
It was my mom clad on her Vera Wang gown specifically shifted from states. It was classy, a unique reinvention of a classic, an elegant interpretation of renaissance dress, a fantasy book type of garment, very beautiful and also very complex and detailed.

Some people may have viewed it as being way too far out of the traditional box, while others probably will later trying to steal a glance without staring all night. Either way, it certainly attracted a lot of attention. She was frowning but eventually gave in with a sigh as she opened her arms for me to come

"Yeah, well thanks a lot Mom, You gave crap directions."

Hands on her hip, She faintly gasped "I gave you the easiest directions ever!"

"Okay, yeah you did." I sighed as I rolled my eyes "How do you even get around here? I got lost." I stepped off of the porch
