june 30, 1985 Last week, I got a job. I work at Scoop's Ahoy in the new Starcourt Mall. Steve works there with me, along with this girl named Robin Buckley. She's totally hilarious, and we both love to make fun of Steve. In fact, I've known her for awhile— she's in my grade and we've had classes together.
I do have to wear this sailor costume... which I'm not a fan of, but hey; anything for the money. Plus, I'm really enjoying myself. Cassie comes in a lot, although I think it's mainly to see Steve... it's almost as if I'm not there.
Oh, well. I'm sure this summer will be great anyway. I'm just glad there's no supernatural forces disrupting Summer of '85.
