Hendrina looked at her checklist if she forgot something for the party. As an event organizer she wants everything to be perfect. The event she's handling is special to her heart because it was her cousin' s marriage. Mukhang wala naman siyang nakaligtaan kaya she decided to go home first and have some rest. She only has an hour to prepare herself and go to the club. Her lifestyle is not really that healthy. She is an event organizer sa umaga at sa gabi ay club owner. Being an organizer is just a hobby to her. But running a business like her club is the most important to her and making wines is her passion. It is in their blood to run a business related to alcohol.
Their family business is a winery and she is already exposed on how to make wines even when she was just a child. Their vineyard is like her playground and their winery is her laboratory. Pabalya niyang inihiga ang katawan sa kaniyang kama ng makarating sa sariling bahay. Her schedule is always packed up and only gets a little time to sleep these days. They are planning to release her new wine that she created this month. Hendrina was about to fall asleep when her phone rang. She unconsciously answers it without looking at who the caller is.
"HENDRINA!!! OH MY GOSH! FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY!" Her friend Almendra screamed when she answered the call. Kung kanina ay halos makatulog na siya ay biglang nagising ang diwa ng dalaga sa boses ng kaibigan na parang lumunok ng megaphone.
"Al! Ano ka ba naman. Why are you shouting? Ang ewan mo naman eh. I was about to sleep. Anong kailangan mo?" She asked irritatedly. Ayaw kasi niya kapag nauudlot ang tulog niya. She feels like her head is spinning kapag patulog na siya tapos biglang magigising.
"Oh! I'm sorry to bother you friend. But guess what happened to me here. It is so embarrassing. Ang hina pa ng signal dito kaya inabot ako ng isang linggo para ma-share itong pinaggagawa ko this whole week." Almendra said and sounded frustrated. Mukha nga yatang malaki ang problema nito.
"So ano bang nangyari sayo? Isang linggo ka pa lang diyan sa probinsya, sa tono ng boses mo parang gusto mo ng bumalik dito sa Manila." She asked curiously.
Her friends really love animals and decided to stay in the province for her parents sake. Kahit na iwan ang pagiging city girl nito ay kaniyang ginawa. Almendra tell her everything that happened to her when she arrived at the province. Hindi naman mapigilan ni Hendrina ang matawa sa kwento ng dalaga. Kung kanina inis siya dito sa pag-abala sa napipintong pagtulog niya ay napalitan na ito ng labis na tuwa. Nangingilid na din ang luha niya sa mata sa sobrang pagtawa.
Her friend must really having a good and hard time at the province she's staying. She sounded like she was about to go back here in the city but the way she tell story is saying the opposite. Pero mabuti naman at nagkaroon ng excitement sa buhay ng kaibigan niya, hindi nalang ito puro panggagamot sa mga hayop.
Haisst siya kaya kailan? Nasaan na kaya ang magdadagdag ng excitement niya sa buhay?
After the call she wasn't able to go back to sleep. It was already 6 pm so she decided to cook food for herself and then go to her club. That is the last day of preparing for her cousin's wedding and she is throwing a party for her co-workers. It has been a tiring month to them, so they deserve a one of a hella treat. Masyado kasing pabago bago ang ate niya sa gusto nitong ganap sa magiging kasal. Well she can't blame her, it is a once in a lifetime experience.
Hendrina takes a shower after she finished her simple dinner. She only put a powder and lip gloss to her lips. Even though she is always at her club, not all the time ay puma-party siya. She stayed at her bar's office and let her manager work. Tinatawag lang siya kapag needed siya nito. She just loves the fact na mabilis siyang mahahagilap ng manager niya kapag may problema, ganoon siya ka hands on sa Caberro Club.
It is already 9 in the evening ng makarating siya sa club. The night is still young but the people are getting wild already. She shakes her head when she sees her co-worker drinking happily. Lexi her gay team waved at her ng makita siya. They already have a table that she reserved for them. She approached the team to congratulate everyone.
"Hello everyone!" She greeted them one by one and gave them a peck of kisses on their cheeks. That is her habit every time she greets someone. All of her team put their attention on her. Maingay sa club kaya nilakasan niya ang boses.
She lifts a glass of tequila and makes a toast. "This toast is for our hella month job well done. All the drinks are on me so let's get wasted tonight." She said that made her team scream with excitement. She drinks the glass of tequila she's holding and her team also drinks their shot. Lexi grabbed her wrist and brought her to the crowds to dance. She laugh so hard when Lexi dance erotically.
"Gosh Lexi you're getting wild."
"Well kailangan kong galingan kanina pang nakatitig sakin yung Popshie sa kabilang table. I wanna get laid tonight. Hahahahaha!" She shakes her head lightly and dances to the beat of the music. Maya-maya lang ay may lumapit na lalaki kay Lexi. He looks like a Filipino with a mix of foreign blood. They dance and flirt with each other. Later on Lexi winked at her and left together with the man.
Wala ng nagawa si Hendrina kundi ang umalis sa dance floor. Her other teams are there but she is already tired. Ang haba na kasi ng araw niya, she rather stay at her office for a while. She was about to go at her office when a familiar tall and broad shoulder gets her attention. The man is sitting at the clubs counter and drinking alone. The man's back profile is really sexy to looked at. Isang linggo na ng pagsaluhan nila ang isang mainit na halik at sigurado niyang ang lalaki na ang madalas niyang hanapin sa club.
He never left her mind for the whole week and she regret for not getting his name. Ang kauna-unahang lalaki na umagaw ng interes at atensyon niya. She stared at him and the way his shoulder moved up and down he looked like crying. Sunod sunod din ang pag-inom nito ng alak. Gino, one of her bouncer approached her.
"Mam Hendrina di ba si Sir yan yung kasayaw mo noong isang linggo?" He asked curiously. Nakita siguro nito ang pagtitig niya sa lalaki.
"Yes. Why are you even asking anyway? Don't you have anything else to do?" She strictly said.
Napakamot naman sa noo ang bouncer. "Mam sorry po. Kanina pa po kasing ala singko ng hapon nandito si sir. Babago palang po kaming nag-aayos at naglilinis ng club ay nagpumilit ng pumasok kahit seven pa ng gabi ang bukas natin. Di naman po namin mapaalis kasi VIP member po siya ng club. Sobrang lasing na po niyan si sir. Para na nga pong ginawang tubig ang alak, di po namin maawat. Baka po kasi kakilala niyo, kaya nagtanong po ako. Sige po mam balik na po ako sa trabaho ko." Magalang na sabi ni Gino at pumunta sa mga kasamahan.
She sighed dahil sa sinabi ng bouncer. Mukha nga na may problema ang lalaki sa inaakto nito. Nahihiya naman siyang lapitan ito at baka makilala siya. Even though she want to know his name ay di pa rin niya maiwasang mahiya dahil sa halik na pinagsaluhan nila. Maalala pa nga lang niya ang gwapong mukha nito at ang malambot nitong labi na minsang nahalikan ay agad na namumula ang pisngi niya. But the thought na maaga pa ito sa club ibig sabihin sobrang lasing na talaga ito. She look at her wrist watch at nakita niyang 10 na ng gabi. Nilapitan niya ang lalaki para pigilan ito sa pag-inom at damayan. Mukha naman na di na siya makikilala nito sa kalasingan.
"Bahala na nga lang si Batman!" She talked to herself.
