On Jo jumped to her father's grasp and hugged him tightly. Everyone quickly gets out of there and Cheng San quickly slams the door shut. You take a deep breath, exhausted after killing those zombies.
Suddenly, Joon-Yeong, Gyeong Su and Wu Jin tackle you in a hug. “Thank goodness you are okay,” Gyeong Su sighed.
You feel flustered and at the same time, embarrass because too many people are watching. Instead, you awkwardly hug them back.
Most of them laughed while the seniors scoffed, especially Mi-Jin. Ha-Ri, she... well slightly offended because Wu Jin just ditch her and hug you instead while Mi-Jin, she having fruity panic.
“Is everyone alright?” Mr Nam asked and they nodded.
The shriek from those zombies becomes louder every second, thanks to your super hearing. “We need to go,” you warned, unlocking the gun's safety lock. Mr Nam was shocked when he saw a gun. He has a lot of questions to ask but he knew it was not a good time when the zombies run toward them.
You shoot them, aiming at their head. The silencer decreases the loud sound of the gun but is loud enough to make it painful to your ears. But you ignore it. Ha-Ri and Min Jae shoot them with their arrow, two of them take care from in front while you are from the back.
You realised that the ammo is limited so you have to use it wisely. “They are too many! We couldn't against them like this!” Ha-Ri shouted, releasing her arrow.
“Then, go. I will take care from behind!” you ordered and reluctantly, the others followed after Mr Nam. But unsurprisingly, Min Jae drags you with him by pulling your collar from behind.
“You can just run with us instead of becoming a hero, idiot. And no, don't say any bullshit that lingering in your mind,” he rambled.
Your friends widened their eyes while running when they glanced at both of you. How did he carelessly do that to you? Even a teacher is reluctant to mad at you.
“Okay. Now, let me go!”
“No, I don't trust you.”
“How the fuck that I'm going to run if I get pulled like this?!??”
“This is not a good time to fight!” Ha-Ri warned.
When everyone arrived at the tennis court, Ha-Ri is aiming for the closer zombie but suddenly gets tackled from nowhere. Mr Nam helps her and instantly closes the entrance. You notice that the zombies are now surrounding the court which means, you are all trapped.
“We can't go out there. We can't go anywhere,” Dae Su said.
“What should we do, Dae Su?” Wu Jin frantically asked him.
“Damn it!” Mi-Jin cursed under her breath. You widened your eyes and with fear for your friends, you run to the entrance of the court to keep it close. The zombies successfully broke the gate but couldn't enter because you hold them. You know that you couldn't hold this for too long.
“Y/n!” they shouted.
“Think of a solution to get the hell out of this court, quickly!” you groaned through your gritted teeth, “I can't hold this any longer!”
“Hang on, kiddo!” Mr Nam shouted without questioning how a teenager can hold a hoard of zombies just like that. He lit up the torch and throw it to the corner of the court.
“Let them go!” Mr Nam shouted much to your dismay. “Sir, what about–”
“Trust me. I have a plan,” he assured. You push the gate for the last time before sprinting toward the others. You glance at Hyo Ryung's ankle and notice that it was sprained. No wonder she keep falling and she didn't notice it. Without hesitation, you lift her and carry her from behind.
