The Apartment

Jack slowly pushed the door open, I was the first to turn on my flashlight and walk inside, the others slowly coming in behind me. "What is this place?" Henely asked slightly disgusted by the mess. She pushed open the bathroom door and quickly covered her nose to shield from the revolting smell. "Wow I thought my house was a mess.." Merritt was clearly trying to make light of the situation. "What if this was just some stupid prank against us guys, I kind of feel stupid being here" I held my arms over my stomach as I walked.

"Man it's freezing in here" Jack was hugging himself to keep in the warmth.

We waked into the main room and saw a note card and a rose just lying on the ground.

"Now you don't" Daniel read the card as I picked up the rose and set it up in a random vase "A rose by any other name.." As soon as i put the rose in the vase the water leaked out onto the floor and into the engravings on the floor. Gas started to shoot up into the air, "Reax guys it's just dry ice" Merritt being known as a funny guy really was just trying to keep everyone cam in this situation.

"Cool" Henely and I said together as we held hands and smiled at each other.

"What do you guys think this is all about?" Danie always had to ask questions.

"Hold on.. i got nothin" Merritt tried to find anything mental about the situation. Everyone took a turn asking each other if the other did it... Merritt didn't get asked.

"Power's out" Daniel was flicking switches. "Well let's see" I stood under the bulb and even with my heeled boots i wasn't tall enough to screw in the bulb all the way. Merritt lightly touched my waist and moved me to the side slightly so he could do it, smirking down at me as he did. The most I could do is cover my blushing face with my hair.

As soon as the bulb was screwed in projection flew into the middle of the room to make a holographic blue print. We all stood and marveled at it for a couple seconds.

"They're incredible"

"Who do you think did this?"

"I wanna meet them"

"Meet? I wanna be them, they're so good" I held my face in my hands, trying to comprehend what was in front of me.

Suddenly Henely spoke up. "Guys they're for a show!"
