Is this really the end??

We strolled up to central park, the place where I had gotten my tarot card to begin with. Henely took a moment to jangle the chain and lock before stating the obvious that is was locked.

"Weren't you listening? Nothing is ever locked." Jack walked up with a smile on his face. We applauded and cheered for him.

"What if all this was just leading up to us getting mugged at Central Park at 3 am?" I loved Merritt but some of the things he said...wait I love Merritt?

"No i'm telling you we're right where we need to be! We just need to find.." I could tell Danieal was getting a little frustrated.

"That?" Henely shined her light on the sign below my fathers tree.

"...The Lionel Shrike tree" They all looked at me and then back at the tree.

We all took out our tarot cards, stacking them, and watching them light up to project a card with an eye on it. Henely waved it over the card encased in glass, as it lit up we heard carnival music and saw lights so we raced our way over. I tried to pay attention the best I could be my mind was still on the fact that I realized I loved Merritt. We came up on a merry go round, I tilted my head in confusion.

"Oh my god, I did NOT see that coming" I was too stunned to respond to Mer, as all the voices drowned out around me, right infront of me was my brother.

"When I said always be the smartest guy in the room.."

"We were in agrement."

As Dylan made his way down the line, he stopped at me.

"Is it finally over?.." All he did was nod before I launched myself into his arms. I could already tell I would have to answer a ton of questions from the rest. But right now my focus was on my brother.

"Never leave me again Dyl, your all the family I have left besides these knuckleheads, no more going away"

"I promise Jess, i'm here to stay"

He gave me one last squeeze before I was scooped into another pair of arms. Merrit had scooped me up and was twirling me around high in the air" We did it Jessie!" I laughed loudly before he set me down on my feet right infront of him. Before I got a second his lips were on mine and my hands were on the back of his neck. I mentally thanked Henely for distracting Dylan with questions.

Merritt pulled away and stared me deep in the eyes. I almost didnt hear the words that came out of his mouth but they were there and I heard them.

"Jessica Shrike, I love you and would follow you to the ends of the earth"

"...I love you too Merritt Mckinney, and you dont have too follow me anywhere, cause i'm going wherever you are"
