"Is there still more? This taste amazing!" Kathy asked.
"You haven't even finished your plate." Angel chuckles, him eating.
"But I have. May I have another plate?" Jacob asked holding out his plate. "Don't you think that's enough? You do know how your stomach can't hold more than two plates of food." Caleb says.
"But it taste amazing!" He exclaims.
"Loser! May I have another plate?" Zach holds out his plate.
"May I have another plate as well?" I asked.
"Me too!" José raised his hand.
"Okay, come with me." Angel said, standing from his seat and leading us into the kitchen.
"I have so missed your cooking so much." José hugs Angel.
"Angel's cooking has been like this?! Like this mouth watering?" Zach exclaims.
"Yeah! Even though we were taught the same way at the same pace, Angel was always the better cook. The best in our class." José spoke.
"That's awesome! We should've met you sooner! Where have you been?" Zach asked taking his plate and nudged Angel playfully.
"I've been around." Angel nods.
"Shit. Besides his mom's cooking, this is the best I've ever tasted." Zach said.
That's true. Zach doesn't usually gush about food like this unless it's my mom's food or about chicken nuggets.
"Thank you." Zach and José said walking back to their seat.
"Here's your plate Beau." Angel grins, handing me my plate. "Which plate is this?" He asked.
"This is my.. fourth plate." I nod. "Does the food taste that good? It just taste like noodles." He asked.
Is he being serious right now?
"What?" I shrug. "You've got to be kidding, right?" I say.
"Do I look like the person to kid?" He asked. As he started putting away the remaining spaghetti away.
"Well, no. But I do think you are underestimating yourself. I've only had a handful of things made from you but it hasn't disappointed me." I say.
"Why are you so positive about things?" He looks at me. Sliding himself onto the counter.
"That's just my outlook on you." I answer, shoving noodles into my mouth.
Have you ever tried food and it's so mouthwatering and it makes you feel so warm?
It's like this is better than anything in this whole world. It's so creamy and thick, I just can't explain how rich everything taste.
I zone back in, and I see Angel looking at me.
"Do I have something on my face?" I asked.
"Yes, actually." He hops off the counter, coming closer to me, and examines my face. "At first, I wasn't sure if you actually have something on your face. I was just looking at how your face is." He says.
I feel all the heat creep up to my face. "You do have something on your face though." He wipes sauce off the corner of my lips. He shifts himself closer to me, closing of any space between us.
"I'd have to get used to your honesty." I mumbles. Trying to stop my knees from giving out underneath me. "I'd have to get used to your face." He says, grabbing my face and squishing it.
