This chapter will contain a decent amount of mature content, not enough to surpass the mature rating.
This part also contains Spanish. Which will be translated for those who don't understand/speak Spanish.
"Hey! Where were you guys?" Zachary puts his hand over his face to block the suns afternoon beams.
"We were around." I answered shortly, seeing the slightly grin stretched onto Beau's face.
"Well, you missed our sandcastle competition. We were on teams, Kathy and me, Jacob and Caleb, and Rojo and José," He started, Katherine then popped out from behind him.
"Obviously, we won." She beamed, which she and Zachary both flipped their hair comically.
"And now, they are going to buy us drinks." He laughed.
"You guys won solely because you threw sand at our castle." Jacob shouted from behind them, laying himself back down in the sand.
"Don't lie. It fell apart." Zachary scoffed, resting his hands on his hips and shaking his head.
"It did, he's a sore-loser." Katherine shrugged, also shaking her head.
"And Rojo and José were busy eating each other's faces." Zachary pointed behind him. Which in fact they were, laying on a lounge chair with José on top of Rojo.
"Talk about PDA." Katherine giggled.
"But yeah! What were you guys up to?" Zachary smiled widely.
"Swimming mostly." I refrain myself from smirking after Beau hummed contently.
"Mostly?" Katherine wiggled her eyebrows, winking suggestively.
"Yes. Mostly. Then we went on to hide the bodies of the other people who thought anything otherwise." I crossed my arms over my chest.
Which Zachary and Katherine faces fell completely, looked at each other, then back at me then back at each other.
"It's true. Matter of fact, it wasn't that far from here. Yet, nobody heard or saw anything." Beau added.
"I was just about to say that." I nodded.
They both had a look of nervousness on their faces.
Which Beau snorted, before laughing. I put my hand over my mouth and suppressed my chuckle at their expressions.
"Great, Beau. Now you picked up his sense of humor." Zachary put his hand up and walked way, shaking his head.
"You guys are something else, and even I didn't catch on as quickly as I usually do." Katherine shook her head walking away.
I looked over at Beau and he looked up at me. His face fell off of emotion, and mine stoic as per usual.
Before he cracked a slight smile, then full on laughter. Which I just gave him a small smile in return.
"You guys, let's start wrapping up. We should start getting ready for dinner." I said, walking passed Beau who followed behind me.
"But we got here not too long ago." Katherine said.
"We came to the beach early in the morning. It's four in the afternoon." I said.
"Come to think of it, I am kind of starving." Zachary said, stacking sand on top of a sleeping Jacob.
Katherine put her hands on her hips and looked up and started humming. "Yeah! Me too." She nodded to herself.
"Rojo, José, come on, wrap it up." I said out to them, which they both looked up and back at me.
