Angel

After finishing a movie, I stretched my body within my warm blanket contemplating whether I should watch another movie, or go into work.

While thinking, I got a text to come into work, so that answered my thoughts. Oh, and if I haven't mentioned, I work at a Café. Pretty weird, right? Person like me having a job?

Fighting my blanket, I tumble out of bed and return to my closet. I leave the same shirt on, whilst putting on a pair of skinny black jeans and black boots.

I fluff up my hair, tap my face to bring in some colour, put on some perfume, kiss Mimi on the head, grabbing my essentials then leave.

I walk into the café, and was greeted with a friendly face.

"Hi, hello Angel! Good morning!" She chimed.

"Here is your apron! I'm glad you came in today on short notice. I kind of have to be somewhere." Katherine said.

"Thanks, what's the reason you are clocking out early? We aren't even open yet." I asked, pitting my apron over my head and wrapping it around my waist.

Katherine is the type of person who you can rely on. Super nice, yet super naïve. Kind of like me back in my teen years, I make myself sound older than what I am, Jeez.

"Oh! I don't know if I told you, but it's my second year anniversary with my boyfriend." She smiles warmly.

"Oh. Great, congrats." I sigh, of course it has to deal with relationships.

"You don't sound all that happy, are you alright?" She ask concerningly as she hung her apron and rubbed my shoulder.

"I'm fine, just lightheaded." I shake my head.

"Oh! I'll make you a sweet cup of coffee, your sugar is probably low." She dashes before I could deny her.

I've seen her and her boyfriend before. Very attractive couple.

She's really pretty as it is, strawberry blonde hair that runs down to her lower back, slight freckles on her nose, a very curvy body slightly pudgy in a cute way, and large hazel eyes.

Her boyfriend being the total opposite, dark brown hair, five o'clock shadow stubble, slightly slimmer than average, and small dark brown eyes.

Speaking of which,

"Hey Angel, is Kathy ready?" He asked, scanning him down he is holding a large bouquet of flowers. Roses.

"She is in the kitchen, she'll be out soon." I respond,

"Alright," He nods, readjusting the flowers in his hands.

"Oh! Hi George!" She squeals, he then smiles widely.

"Here, this is for you. Extra cream, caramel, and shredded ice," She smiles then dashes to her boyfriend, placing a large kiss to his cheek.

"Thank you," I sip some out the straw. I have nothing against her but I hope she leaves, the auroma of love is making me physically ill.

"Okay, so I'll be leaving now. If you need me, you have my number Angie!" She shouts as she leaves with her arm wrapped around her boyfriends arm.

"Yeah, I know. Have fun.." Thank god.

The café opens in a little bit, but might as well open now. I flip the sign on the door to open, and walk back behind the counter.

When I grabbed my cup of coffee, a customer well, customers came in. Putting my cup aside, I plastered the most convincing smile I could, "Hey, What can I get you this morning?" I ask.
