We finally got to school and walked out to the the front of the school. Olivia and I stared at Robert Jr. High School. People were walking in and around the school talking to their friends and laughing. It seemed good that people were smiling and laughing. At least I could maybe count on this school being friendly. Anna, Lucy, and Ellie waved goodbye to us, but I was kind of stiff. I always thought of the worst scenarios. That's when I saw the Jerkwad. I grabbed Olivia's hand and darted out of the parking lot. I wasn't ready to confront him again, since I was a little embarrassed. Plus, he was just flat-out annoying!

I walked to my first class. ELA. I was already a big fan of writing, and I kept a journal of all my fiction stories. They were short, but I enjoyed coming home after school and writing fantasies. It was a way to release my feelings. Anyway, I got into class and sat down in the back closest to the window. It was sunny and I was in a good mood. At least I can wake up and go to school and start writing, I thought. Mrs. Emory stood up in front of the class. "Hello there, students. What a good-looking class I have here!" Everyone looked around the room. Nope, I thought. Ugly, ugly, ugly...maybe, she's pretty, ugh she's wearing too much makeup. I snapped myself out of that. Since when did I become so judgmental? "Anyway," Mrs. Emory started up again,"today we are going to do something special since we don't know each other very well. I'll pair you up with someone and then you have to write a paragraph describing them." Then she started pairing people up. "Brittany, you will go with Annika. Trinity, meet Carson. Morgan and Smirthi. Charles and Hamilton. Aspen with Natalie. Shay with Madeline." Those were my main friends, so I didn't listen to the "ugly" pairs. Nooooo! I honestly didn't know what to write. Was I supposed to say stuck-up? I didn't want to be mean even though she was. I just wrote nice things down. Now it was time to present. I was scared. She either wrote mean things down or nice things and didn't mean them. Natalie began reading hers. I held my breath. "Aspen has really pretty hair, but it always looks dirty. Her eyes are the color of grass." I didn't want to hear the rest of it. Didn't I tell you?

Class was soon over. I was so glad. I mean seriously, that was kind of cruel. Plus, I didn't have that class with Olivia, so I was mad. I walked with Trinity, Brittany, Morgan, and Annika do we could pick up Olivia to go to math class.
Then, Trinity pulled us into the bathroom. We waited until the girly gerks walked out. "You guys. I think I like someone," she said. "I think that's great, i mean I'm not interested in guys...not girls either, but I'm just not ready for that. Anyway, who?" I asked loudly. "Shush. It's Carson." She whispered. "OOOOOH! SOMEONE'S GOT A CRUSH ON CAR-" Trinity cut Annika off. "Shut up, Annika! Did you not hear when I said shush?!" Annika looked at the ground. "Oh," she said. I frowned. "How do you know?" I asked. "That was pretty quick." She looked at the ground, too. "I know, but when i was describing him...I don't really know. I guess it won't last long." I patted her on the back. "Sorry. I didn't mean to discourage you." I said. "No, no," she said. "It's the truth."
~~~
Lunch period was boring, so there's really no need to talk about that. Anyway, when I got home I had homework. Lots of it. I got done and then I got a text. I didn't know who it was from.
Unknown #: meet me at Riverside Pizza. Don't worry, your friends will be there.
Me: which friends? Who are you?
Unknown #: you'll see.
I was kind of iffy at first, but I decided to go. I was crossing my fingers that this wasn't a girly gerk or the Jerkwad. When I got there...it was both.
And they were hanging out with my friends...
Woot! Long-ish chapter!
