My mom picked me up around 8:30 or so, which was my curfew for a lot of things except dance, which went to 9:00. I know, I know, it's lame, but at least I get a lot of sleep! I got ready for bed and climbed under my blankets. I turned off the light and closed my eyes. I wonder how Trinity is doing after that mishap at Riverside, I thought. I flipped over on my other side and checked the clock. It read 9:03. I really didn't mean to change her mind or do something to ruin her spirit. I was just wondering. I tossed and turned for another 30 minutes until I finally took out my journal. What should I write, what should I write? I asked myself. I began to brainstorm, scribbling down every word, sentence, and idea that came to mind. I wrote about myths, dragons, self-saving princesses, and kingdoms. I needed something new to write about though. Something I had less experience in. I opened up my laptop and got on Wattpad. What's something people are interested in nowadays? I asked myself. I looked through the titles. I knew what I had to do. Romance?! Ugh. Lemme try this. I mean, I had to find my strengths and weaknesses to become a superior writer. If I wanted to be an author I had to try. I brainstormed and wrote until I fell asleep.

My alarm woke me up this time. OH CRAP, I thought. I forgot to ask Mom about my clothes. I ran downstairs. "Uhhhh Mom? Can I talk to you?" I asked. She looked up from her cooking surprised. It was probably my bed-head. "Sure, Sweetie. Anything." I sighed. "Ok well, I don't want to wear what you make me wear." I clenched my fists and closed my eyes and held my breath. "Ok." She said."What? I thought you'd get mad."
"Nope."
"Why not?"
"Well it was your decision to decide whether or not I was going to make your choices or you were."
I stared with my mouth wide open.
"Wow," I said."Now go get ready. You'll miss carpool."
I ran upstairs with my mouth still open. I couldn't believe that just happened. That was WAY easier than I thought.
Later carpool came and I told Olivia all that happened. She gave me an I-told-you-so-look and I laughed.

As soon as I walked into school I heard someone yelling down the hallway. She was coming at me fast! "Get outta the way!" She yelled. "GET OUTTA THE WAY!" I stepped to the side quickly. She was flying down the hallways and finally stopped. "Hey! What's going on?" I asked. She turned around after putting a flyer up. "Oh I'm sorry. I'm Kendall. I was just in a rush. If you're aggressive in this school, you can pretty much get what you want." She said and ran down the hallway again. I looked at Olivia. "Well then." I said.

I sat down at the same seat by the window in class. As everyone got settled down, I remembered my story. I took it out and read over it.
Once upon a time there was a shy girl.
She never paid much attention to guys.
She was focused on studies and friends and wasn't about to give that up for a feeling that would never last.
I closed my book as some of my friends walked past. We said hey to each other and Mrs. Emory walked up to her desk. "How was everyone's first day of school?" Everyone yelled back 'good' although I'm pretty sure Shay yelled 'potato'. Mrs. Emory shot him a look and began again. "Alright. Today we're going to write on a subject you've never written on before. Explore your abilities. Try to go for a topic that is out of your comfort zone. Remember, it's only a short story, so don't stress!" She smiled and then sat down. I know what I'm going to write on, I thought. Everyone talked quietly to one another while I scribbled to work.
In no time, it was the end of class and everyone had to turn in their stories. I quickly turned it in and ran out the door as soon as the bell rang and caught up with my friends. I had to ask Trinity. "Hey. Are you ok?" I asked. "Yes," she said and looked down. "I'm just a little uncomfortable around him, that's all." I patted her on the back. "I'm sorry." I said.

Carson's POV
I saw Trinity in the hall talking to Aspen. She's beautiful, and so sweet to everyone. She likes anime too. (Wink, wink.) I thought about that other day at Riverside. I think she actually might be interested in me. I'm not quite sure though. What could a girl see in a nerdy guy who wears dark clothes all the time? Anyway, I just have to act natural. She's walking by. Oh God I dropped my books. We both went to pick them up at the same time. We didn't touch hands like in one of those cheesy movies, but when I stood up I hit my head on my locker. Was that natural enough? "S***!" I yelled. Oops, would she mind that I cursed? I thought. All she did was laugh and ask if I was ok. I guess that was fine. She was blushing like crazy. I had to ask her out....but when? She quickly handed me my books and walked away though. I guess she saw herself in Sasha's locker who was right next to me. She smirked at me. "What?" I asked. She pinched my cheeks. "You like her." She said. I leaned in close. "Is it that obvious?" I whispered. She nodded. I slammed my locker door and ran to class.Oooooh! We finally get to know how Carson feels! Sorry I didn't publish yesterday... Here's a longer chapter to make up for it!
