Game On

Light flipped his phone open and closed boredly. It's being four days since Ryuk had left him to do some "Shinigami business".

Though this sounded suspicious to Light, he didn't care. But what bothered him was that Ryuk's not able to go far from the Death Note.

There was a BEEP and Light quickly flipped his phone. Huh? A virus?

'Hello, Light-kun.'

Light looked at his phone, confused. This wasn't a call, so how did this get on his phone? Then all became clear. L.

'Hello, Ryuzaki.'

'Light-kun. You must be wondering why there are cameras in your house.' 

'Oh, really? I didn't notice.'

'You must have being extremely in thought to not notice, Light-kun.'

'Hmm? Yes...'

'Yet you were able to know it was me on your phone so quickly.'

'And you are implying...?'

'Oh, Light-kun! When will your wedding be? Miss Amane is telling me how exciting it will be. I'm so excited.' L said in the same monotone he used all the time. Unless it was just the robotic effect.

Light narrowed his eyes on the sudden change of topic. Could it be...? No...it was too fast...L, even he isn't that fast...he can't have figured it out. But working with L, Light has reallized that he was that fast.

'Misa is at your place?'

'Yes. Didn't you know? I invited her for tea this afternoon.'

'...Ah.' What was Misa doing at L's? Was he going to use her as a bribe? No...L would never do that...Maybe he's seeing if she is Kira? Then that would mean...he suspects me as Kira and that I have given Misa the other Death Note...even though I only have one....No, he knows I wouldn't give the Death Note to Misa.

Then why is she there?

'Are you jealous, Light-kun?'

'Huh?! What?!'

'Don't worry, Light-kun. We just finished our tea.'

Light said nothing.

'Hey Light! Light! Can you hear me?!' A muffled voice said in the background. The sound made Light want to hit something.

BEEP.

His phone turned black.

'I guess it's my move now.' Light muttered quietly.
