Guys I gave up on this story... just to let y'all know

It was already stressful enough today at the smoothie cafe and to make it worse my boss wanted me to close tonight. All the employees had left around 8:00, so here I was alone. I was told to clean the back rooms so I didn't waste any time.

As I reached for my pocket of my jacket and pulled out my phone. When I turned on my phone the screen lit up it read.

9:00

"Shit" I cursed to myself. I was planning on being out of here before nine. But here I was having to work extra time on my shift.

I had been in the back trying to organize some of the equipment. My next task was to clean the front tables.

I made my way to the front of the cafe, where the tables were. I pulled the rag, that was laying on top of my shoulder off, and started to wipe down the counters. Music was playing throughout the room.

Most of the time when I close the cafe I tend to keep the music on because it keeps me going. Music is one of my favorite things, it comforts me in many ways.

When the music came to a complete stop a familiar track came on. The music echoed through the cafe as it started to play.

Ooh, You can dance

I don't understand why everyone leaves me to do all the work. Everyone barely does their job here while I actually do everything. It sucks but I need the money. I hope to get out of here soon though. I planned that I wasn't going to college. It's a really dumb choice but I don't even have enough money for it.

I got to my last table and bent over and brushed the rag across the circular shape.

The lyrics played through the cafe as I just finished the last one. I got up and pulled down the back of my dress. I was thinking about going to a bar later tonight so I decided to wear a black laced dress. It was a little tight on me but it was cute. I also decided to just wear converse because I still had to do work.

After I had finish up with the tables, I made my way to the back rooms again to get ready to leave. I swung the rag over my shoulder and listen to the music echo.

You can jive, Having the time of your life

"Ooh, see that girl" I mumble to myself as I got to the back. I place the rag on a hook and started to remove my blue apron.

"Watch that scene, Digging the dancing queen" I sang while untying the strings of my clothing. I pulled the apron off my head and placed it on my hook that read

Eden

I then walk over to the back doors and reached for the switches. I pulled one down and the music came to a complete stop. I then flipped the last switch and the cafe then darkened.

I pushed open the back doors and felt the cool breeze hit me. I grabbed my keys from my jean jacket and locked the cafe up.

It was a beautiful night today, the air was cool tonight. Just the right temperature for me.

I made my way towards my truck. When I first moved to Miami I met a couple sweet people here. They noticed my car was barely hanging on.

They offered me a 1970 Ford F-100 truck and I gladly accepted it. I was truly thankful for them, when I first moved here. But eventually they all moved to New York together.

They asked me if I wanted to go over there with them but I declined. Yeah there's alot to look forward over there in New York but there is here too in Miami. I do hope to visit them one day though, New York seems pretty cool.
