Choi Han stares at the scenery before him, green landscape that was filled with a miniature farm, forests and children tending to it with cheerful conversations. The soil in his hands slowly crumble as it falls to the ground, a serene smile spreads on his lips - his eyes crinkle showcasing to the entire world with how much content he is exactly in.
Glancing towards his left where a red headed male was sitting on a tree trunk, his heart pounded lightly in a way that feels exhilarating. The summer breeze caressed his locks sweetly before it passes, the leaves shake like a gentle touch.
This feeling, he loves it.
A lot, and he wants to keep it, forever. But of course, it wouldn't last long. Like the seasons they come and go, repeating like a cycle. And he's determined to save it all, no matter what happens nor the sequences. They are his family, and-- it would be nice to dive into those arms that seems promising of comfort and love. He wonders. That hug back then, what if - what if that hug was a bit longer? Would he have felt it then? Would he have felt that warmth and oozing worry given through touch?
He didn't even noticed how his staring was reciprocated until he was nudged by Lock.
"Hyung, you alright?" The wolf king tilts his head curiously, the older man has been staring at nothing for almost a moiety of hour - well, not exactly nothing as his line of sight is where the young master is.
It wasn't even a minute until Choi Han comes back down to earth and out of the clouds of his dreaming. "Huh? What?"
The genuine confusion crossed the other's face, making Lock confused further more. Rosalyn, who was both besides them from the start, snorts unlively. "Nothing. You've been staring at Young Master Cale for almost an hour, now."
The Korean flushed pink at the indicative statement and shook his head, out of embarrassment. "A-Ah, it's not like that! I just.. hm.."
"Ah yes, the hm, indeed." Rosalyn sighs comically with the means to tease which turned out successful as the other flushed closed to the colour of beetroot.
The red-haired woman is simply exhausted by these two oblivious idiots. She can't believe that Choi Han actually didn't know of the fact that he already had his kiss taken by the young master. Although it was partially her fault since she assisted in his stupid confession while drunk.
But it was way more worse when morning sun hit and the young master pretended as if he actually didn't kissed Choi Han and accepted his confession, even more when Choi Han did the same shit and acted as if they were just buddies— or were they? Choi Han probably does, Cale must've thought it was normal. Ugh, thinking about that day gives her headaches - and she knows the others sympathise.
"Just go and kiss him, you've been staring at his lips without even being stealthy." Rosalyn nudged him hard on the side of his waist, causing him to frown and hold that spot but his facial expression quickly changed once he let her words go in one ear.
Lock decided that it was best for him to exit the conversation and leave, he doesn't think he wants to hear his Hyung's miserable pining.
"I- I DIDN'T-!" Choi Han panicked. The unimpressed stare hits his pride, "I was just-, I was just thinking of how nice would it be to... uhhh..." The swordmaster made an unexplainable noise as he buried his face into his palm, equally embarrassed and surprisingly shy.
"I was just wondering how nice it would feel to have his arms wrapped around mine..." Choi Han admits with a sad tone.
The redheaded mage crossed her arms despite wanting to coo at the cuteness of his innocent claim, "Then go do that—actually, go wash first. You shouldn't dirty our gracious young master Cale."
