Akio stands out front of the mansion, waiting for Seiichi to come out. Five special grade sorcerers wait beside him, ready to barge through the doors.
(Y/n) sat in a corner, hugging her knees, as the wound on her neck began to itch. The cut had healed over and the curses inside her continued to multiply.
She wasn't in pain or in any discomfort, but the nauseating pain around her neck bugged her.
"Seiichi... How much longer can we keep them at bay?" Takibi asks, looking down at the scared girl in the corner of a large room.
"The sorcerers didn't take our bait, and Hina was the last cursed womb to flee. We have no back up or an escape rout." Takibi starts to panic as he watched Seiichi stand in the centre of the room. His mind going crazy with countless possibilities that could happen.
They were cornered, and the weaker sorcerers that barged through their doors, lay dead around their feet. Only Akio and the Gojo's remain.
(Y/n) couldn't use her power to escape as the wound on her neck prevented it. She was nothing but a normal human girl, scared at the thought of being captured by Akio.
It's unthinkable for me to go up against Akio and five Gojo's and come out of it alive. Seiichi thought.
Distracting them is out of the bag. Those Gojo's will see straight through any of my tricks...but it's all I got.
Seiichi turns towards (y/n) who looked up at him worried. She knew the dire situation they were in and new fighting wasn't an option, nor is running.
She perched her lips and frowns. She had been thinking about it for so long, but maybe the only way for Seiichi and Takibi to get out of this alive is to offer herself up.
I'm sorry, Seiichi.
Seiichi notices the look in her eyes and shakes his head, clenching his jaw.
"No! We're not doing it." He says sternly.
"It's the only way, Seiichi!" She yells, standing up from the corner.
"If I don't go out now, then you and Takibi will die for nothing!" She walks up to him, grabbing his hand.
"Please, Seiichi. We both know, that I'm the only one in this war to walk out alive." She continues, as tears started to fill her vision.
She was desperate for him to understand, so desperate that her teeth ached.
Seiichi places a hand on her cheek as he shook his head. He knew that already. But it was his duty and promise to protect her from any harm.
"I can't." He whispers, knowing she'll get upset.
"Seiichi! You have to! If I don't go out, then those sorcerers from the north will come in here and kill you both!" She yells, hoping to get her desperation through his thick head.
Her tears streamed down her cheeks and a burning lump holds in her throat; The feeling of loss and dread surrounding her body.
"...I can't watch that happen to you..." She whispers, clenching harder onto his arm.
"...please. I beg of you, Seiichi."
His vision begins to blur as he takes her face into his hands, wiping the tears from her eyes. He bites his lip and shakes his head.
Her heart drops seeing his expression. She steps back from him and stares at him in disbelief.
"I'm sorry, (y/n)..." He whispers.
"...I can't. They'll torture you."
"I rather be tortured then watch my best friends die in front of me!" She screams.
"Dammit Seiichi! We both know how this is going to end!" She yells again, clenching her fists.
"Why! Why are you so hell bent on protecting me like this! Like-like suicide!" She screams again, taking deep breaths from her outburst.
