Its been a few days since the Akio incident, and no one knows who he is and what his purpose was for the attack. Even (y/n) was unsure.
She sits next to Itadori at a round table, with higher ups staring coldly at him. She frowns at her fists that were under the table.
These men don't know who Itadori is. How can they look at him like this so openly!
"Nanami, if this report is correct the three 3rd year students, including Satoru Gojo were sent to a village to dispose of the curses there. correct?" A tall man in a suit sits up from his chair, holding a thin piece of paper in his hands.
"Yes that is correct." Nanami replies with a blank face. He didn't want the higher ups to know his emotions towards the 3rd years, especially Itadori. He sits with his arms crossed and a brow twitching from annoyance.
"These curses, as reported by Satoru himself were ranked grade 3 and up, correct?" The man looks over to Gojo who was sitting beside (y/n) with his legs spread. He laughs through his nose and smiles.
"That is what I said, isn't it?" He sits up from his seat, forcing the other higher ups to look his way. Gojo walks up beside the man and leans his palm on the table, glancing up at the man.
"What exactly are you getting at here? have you gone and gotten your panties in a knot because our report was wrong before we scouted the area?" Gojo continues to say. The room went silent and the man scolds at Gojo raising his chin high.
"Not only did your report come back false, but you endangered three 3rd year students, and possibly could have lost Sukunas vessel to this...So called Special grade that showed up." The man places the sheet of paper down and turns his gaze to (y/n). She twitches from his eyes, as everyone else followed.
"As for you. I heard from a more personal Intel, Sukuna and yourself had been close during the entire situation." He bluntly says. Gojo leans back and looks (y/n)'s way. She automatically looks at him, asking for help, but he stayed quite.
(y/n) opens her mouth but no words came out, making her look more suspicious to the eyes of an outsider.
Dammit, w-why isn't Gojo saying anything. I'm getting nervous.
(y/n) fiddles with her hands as a cold sweat drips down her back
Wait, that's right. When Gojo woke up, the first thing he saw was Sukuna and I together. Of course he'd be curious too
(y/n) looks down at her palms, trying to pick the right words to say in front of all these important people. Suddenly Itadori sits up from his seat and glares at the man.
"Personal Intel? You had a watch dog on us? So, what, you don't trust Gojo enough with us." His eyes were so intense it made Gojo stand up straight from his spot and smiled.
"Whatever Sukuna's reasoning is with (y/n), she has nothing to do with it! I'm his vessel! I'm the one who knows how to answer your questions, so don't-"
"Itadori!" Nanami interrupts him with furrowed brows.
Itadori looks down at Nanami on the other side of the table and slowly sits back down in his seat. He stays quite when he realized who exactly he was yelling at. After watching his student stand up to the higher ups, Gojo sighs and plays a smile on his lips.
"Look, in the end. what we know about this special grade curse and his ability to control grade 3 curses and up, is unknown. That's all that needs to be said, for now." Gojo says, shrugging his shoulders.
"That's all that needs to be said?" The man repeats Gojo.
"As much as I hate to admit it, but this curse managed to chain you, Satoru. You, who is also known to be one of the greatest scorers of our time, was chained by an unknown special grade, with powers we don't completely understand." He huffs, glaring at his tall figure.
"The only other curse who has the potential to do these things is..." The man glances over at Itadori with everyone elses eyes following.
