(/n sat on the pavement along side Itadori and Gojo, waiting for a cab. The clouds above started to roll in and a heavy, humid feeling surrounded the three of them.

Gojo had placed all ten fingers of Akio's into the same box (y/n)'s heart laid in. His mind wavered and thought so carefully as he tried to figure out what to do with the cursed objects.

I'll place them within the Tomb of the Star. It'll be the best spot to keep them out of reach of unwanted hands. Gojo thought to himself as he watched Itadori and y/n casually chat with each other. Though (y/n) is correct. The higher ups will know of her abilities, and possibly execute her along with Sukuna. What would be the best way to convince them not to? She mentioned she can seal her powers, but to what volume?

Gojo's mind ran with many thoughts, thinking up the best ways to safely let her live out a normal life as a Jujutsu sorcerer. He knew any minute now Jujutsu Tech will be arriving to access and record what happened. He grumbles, knowing he'd be the one to report. Hopefully the principal was able to tell them all that happened while we were gone. Aweee, what a bore.

Itadori glanced at y/n, his brows oddly saddened. "So you and Sukuna were a couple a thousand years ago?" He asks, picking at the weed which grew between the pavement.

She smiles. "Not exactly. Back then nothing was entirely official; however, yes with todays standards, we were considered a couple."

Itadori bites his cheek at her words. "How did you do it?" He asked without much context.

"Do what?" She asks back, her mind racing towards a completely different scenario in which Itadori was thinking of. her cheeks went red, thinking about the first time she slept with Sukuna.

"Make the King of Curses fall in love with you?" He elaborates, making sure his attention was on her eyes.

Y/n lets out a hitched sigh, thinking how foolish it was for her mind to wonder that far into the gutter. She parts her lips at the question that so many have asked her before. How was she suppose to answer? She's never had Sukuna confess to her, nor does she know why exactly he loves her.

She clenched her teeth together and gazes away from his eyes. "I've been asked the same question for as long as I can remember...though I wish to tell you...I couldn't." She says. "But... I initially believed that Sukuna loved me because I was of use to him... I later ruled that out." She laughs. "Sukuna wouldn't succumb to love over a fickle thing like that. For Sukuna to even consider the feeling, he'd have a much more complex reason to feel the way he does towards me." She smiles as she thinks back at all the best times she's had with him. "And that thought, those genuine feelings I imagine he has; is what made me so helplessly devoted to him." She gazes away from his eyes for a moment and continued. "I'm aware of what he is, and who he is, and to think someone like that loves me... it's a selfish feeling to have, but I'm proud of it."

Itadori smiled, envious towards Sukuna. "I don't think it's selfish." He whispers, picking at the weeds again. "Honestly, it's probably a trait he likes about you. You know your worth, and you don't settle for anything less." He thought for a bit and trailed on. "I think it's more conviction then selfishness."

Y/n chuckles at Itadori's words. "Conviction? It doesn't fair well against someone who can be quite indecisive... As Sukuna has stated in the past."

Itadori laughs with her and replies. "I don't think you're that indecisive? Not what I've experienced."

"Yes, well... I was quite different in the past. I was frightened, timid, confused and, well all of the above." She softly laughs. "Now I'm just..." she takes a deep breath. "Me."
