They both gazed at each other for what felt like ages, but when y/n felt like leaning in close, his face slightly changed, softening into the features of Yuji Itadori.
"Yuji?" She whispers, gazing at his shocked yet saddened eyes.
He pulls his hand back, gazing at it and then steps back himself. "He...withdrew. I'm sorry." He says, still gazing at the hand which killed Akio and touched y/n.
She steps back as well, the smile coming back to her lips. She shakes her head while closing her eyes. "It's fine...he'd be exhausted." She stops, her smile fading. Why did he leave? Was he not happy to see me? She thought to herself.
She shakes her head again, and smiles up at Itadori. "How are you feeling Yuji? I can't apologise enough for what you had to experience." She bows her head deeply. "I hope it wasn't too much for you."
Itadori smiles, waving his hands. "Trust me, I'v experienced similar with Sukuna." He says.
He couldn't help but feel bad for her. He knew exactly how Sukuna felt just then, yet he hid from her. Why? He thought. Itadori tried thinking of something to comfort her, but was interrupted by a low voice.
"So it was you. This entire time, you were the one who sealed Sukuna?" Gojo's voice gets louder as his body walked towards the two.
She looks back. "Not by choice." She replied with a sadness in her tone. "Though I must ask, Gojo Satoru. What will you do with me, now that you know the truth?" She wipes her tears away and frowns.
Gojo's eyes narrowed, cautious of the woman she is now. "You're not the girl I trained, are you?" He says, tucking his hands into his pockets.
"Of course I am...Gojo Sensei, I've lived longer in this timeline then I had in the past. I may have my memories from a thousand years ago, but iv learned and educated myself in this time." She huffs. "I can't change the feelings I have towards Sukuna, but I know the difference between what's right, and what is wrong." She confidently states, holding her chin high. "I will confess. With my powers reawakened, I fear I can no longer be a Jujutsu Sorcerer. Instead, if you would let me, I wish to seal my powers, or at least limit them."
Itadori steps forwards, interjecting her sentence. "You can't leave! With your powers, we would have such a high advantage." He ushers.
Y/n smiles, turning back to Itadori. "Don't you see. I can't. I don't trust myself. If I stay a Jujutsu Sorcerer, it'll provoke me to find a way to separate you and Sukuna." She says, raising her brows. "Just a few moments ago, I told Seiichi I would sacrifice anything to separate the two of you, so he wouldn't be executed." She goes silent, looking down at her shoes. "I hate to admit it, but I know the destruction he and I will cause if I were to succeed... He can't be set free." She says gazing back up at Itadori.
"What would you do?" Gojo says, interested to here her opinion.
She turns around and looks up at him, uncertain of her own answer. "I want to stay, but I can't. So I'll leave."
Gojo sighs then smiles. "If you leave, what will Sukuna do?" He asks.
Her lips part from the unexpected question. She couldn't answer him because she wouldn't know. Would Sukuna search for her, or would he focus on getting stronger.
"I'll tell you what he'll do." Gojo continues. "He'll devour all his fingers, and right before his execution, he'll attempt to search for you." He says rather bluntly. "And he'll sacrifice anyone to get to you." He adds.
"Sukuna's not that devoted Gojo Sensei." She replied, rising her brows because she didn't want to admit it.
"Not devoted!" Itadori interrupts. "All he thinks about is you?" He steps forwards, making sure she listened. "Sukuna is difficult to understand, almost impossible, but it's so obvious that he goes the extra mile for you."
