Chapter 6

*Holly's p.o.v.*
I couldn't wait for tomorrow. Hayes wanted to hang out again. I really liked Hayes. I knew I've only known him for like two days, and I didn't want to rush anything, but I still liked him a lot.
I went to bed because it was already 11:30pm

(The next day)

I woke up and did my regular routine.
When I got out of the shower I dried my hair a little and then put it in a messy bun. I was in the mood for just a little mascara so I applied that.
Then I changed into some white shorts, and a whit crop top.
Hayes texted me and told me to meet him at the park at 11:00 and eat at the mall with all of the boys.
It was 9:30, so I went downstairs and made myself a bagel. I brushed my teeth and checked Twitter.
Hayes tweeted, Going to have a great day today!, like 20 minutes ago.
That made me feel good.
It was 10:43 so I got on my Magcon hoodie, said goodbye to my parents and headed to the park.
Once I arrived, I saw Hayes and he smiled at me.
"Hey beautiful!" He said with a smile on his face and his arms out to hug me.
"Hey!" I hugged him.
"Are you ready to go meet all of the crazy ones?" He laughed.
"Im pretty sure your one of the most crazy out of the boys. You Cam, Taylor, and Nash are probably the craziest." I giggled.
We walked to the hotel and talked a lot.
"So are there going to be a lot of girls crowding around us at the mall?" I asked him.
"Ummm, I don't know there might be. As long as none of the boys tweeted where we were going to be, there shouldn't be that many. Don't worry, I'll be there." He smiled at me. And I smiled back. He was so perfect, and his smile, and freckles... Ugh. I didn't want to look away.
"And if any girls do see us, and they make hateful comments, just ignore them, they're just jealous of you."
"Ok. I was planning to do that. Haha." We arrived at the hotel and all of the boys were sitting in the lobby.
"Heyyy Haasss!" Nash said smiling.
"Hey," everyone was looking at me. "Guys, this is Holly."
"Hi!" I said and waved.
"Are guys like dating or something?" Taylor asked and then laughed. I blushed, I could feel it. Good thing Hayes spoke, because didn't know what to say.
"No, we're just friends for now."
"Well it's nice to finally meet you. Your all Hayes has been talking about for the past few days." Cameron half whispered.
I saw Shawn run upstairs with his guitar. He was probably outing it back. Matt took a selfie of all of us, and put on his snapchat story.
I have to admit, I was nervous at first to be around a bunch of guys, but I felt at home with them. They were all really nice.
We headed out, and Bart drove one of the SUV's and Cam drove the other one. Me Hayes, Nash, the jacks, and Shawn were Cams car, and Taylor, Matt, Aaron, carter were in Bart's car.
The mall was like 5 minutes away. On the way there we all rocked out to Shawns music. I told him what a big fan I was of his music.
Finally we arrived at the mall, and I told Hayes that we should stop at Starbucks. All the boys started yelling "yaassss, Starbucks selfie," in girly voices. There were all so funny. I got a Carmel latè and Hayes got the same. I didn't see what everyone else got. We walked out and heard someone yell
"OMG! Guys it the Magcon boys!"
Girls ran at us like a herd of elephants. I was nervous tbh. Hayes grabbed my hand and tried to run but they all surrounded us. They screamed so loud that i couldn't even hear myself think. I heard a lot of rude comments about me and Hayes "being together" even though we were just friends. I think.
"Ewe she's ugly! You should be with me Hayes."
"Why are you with her. You can do better than that. "
And so many more come out of they're mouths. I could feel tears fill my eyes but I tried to do what Hayes said, just ignore it. The boys took some pics. While they were side tracked I ran off. I couldn't be there with those girls. They were rude and nasty. Real fans would be happy with whatever the boys did.
I never looked back.
I stopped at a bench and got a text from Hayes. I really didn't want to look at but I knew I had to. He was probably worried.
H- where are you?! I'm sorry about the fans. I tried to warn you😓

I looked around me

Me- I'm by Hollister. And I know you warned me, but I just couldn't stand it.
H- ok I'll be there in a minute.❤️
I looked down and tried to wipe away the tears.
Soon Hayes walked to the bench where I was sitting. I stood up, and he pushed up my chin to look at him.
"I'm so sorry if they scared you. Are you okay?" He asked.
I nodded and he pulled me into a hug. That made me feel a lot better.
We started walking away. The rest of the boys were still taking photos.
Hayes grabbed my hand and I smiled.
"Is this ok?" He asked
"Yes, it is." I said back. He made me feel so good. I've known the guy for three days and he already made me feel so good about myself.
We kept walking until some group of girls came up to Hayes and asked to take a picture with them.
When they were done they gave me a dirty look.
Then one kicked me on the leg and I fell back. I heard Hayes yell and felt more kicking. My ribs hurt and I felt blood on my nose. I heard Hayes yelling and could feel him pulling someone off of me.
Then everything went black...
