Chapter 7

*Hollys pov*
I woke up in a hospital bed. I had tubes going into my arms and bandages on my legs.
I looked next to me and saw Hayes bawlin his eyes out and my mom rubbing his back. I tried to pretend I was asleep.
"Hayes, I promise you, she won't think it's your fault." My mom told Hayes.
"But what if she does. I was the one who took her to the mall. I tried to get the girls off of her, but it was me against three nasty girls out for blood." Said Hayes wiping his face.
"Oh, honey, I know you tried. And Holly's going to be ok. If she wakes up, we're going to go home today. You can come over to see her if you want. Ok?"
Hayes nodded, then ALL of the boys walked into my room. I looked over and saw Cam and Shawn running to me.
"Oh my gosh. Is she ok?" Asked Nash.
I decided to "wake up"
"Yes. I'm fine." I said quietly.
"Holly! Your awake!" Hayes stood up.
"What happened?" I asked him.
"Well me and you were walking in the mall-" I knew what happened when Hayes said that we were at the mall. But he kept talking. "And there were three girls that were jealous of you and started beating you up. I tried to get them off of you. Are you mad at me?" He asked.
Of course I wasn't mad at him. I mean he did warn me about the whole thing.
"No. I'm not mad." I said and grabbed his hand.
"Good"
"Honey? Are you ready to leave. " asked my mom. I nodded and she queued the doctor.
"Well, Holly. You have no major injuries, just a few scratches and bruises. But just rest for the next day. Okay?" Said the doctor.
I nodded and he took out my IV
I stood up and was a little dizzy. I started to fall but Hayes caught me. He picked me up bridal style and brought me to my moms car.
"Hayes do you want to come with me?" My mom asked. The rest of the boys hugged me and told me they were glad that I was ok. Then the went to their own cars. They were all so sweet.
Hayes decided to go with my mom and told Nash.
We got in the car. The drive was about 15 minutes.
(15 minutes later)
We arrived at my house, and my dad was still at work.
Me And Hayes went upstairs to my room. I got out my laptop and opened Netflix.
Hayes sat down next to me.
"What do you want to watch? " I asked him.
"I don't know you choose."
"Ok." I chose stick it. I love the movie so much.
I grabbed a blanket and cuddled up to Hayes.
"Is this ok?" I asked and smiled.
"Of course." He said back.
We got three fourths way through the movie and it was already 10:30. My eyes started to get heavy, and I fell asleep.
(Next day)
* Hayes's pov*
I woke up with Holly cuddled next to me. I really did feel bad about what happened. But she had to rest today. I remember falling asleep last night, but I didn't text Nash. I just texted him to tell him that I slept at Holly's.
About 10 minutes later holly woke up.
"Good morning beautiful. How ya feelin?" I asked her. Her was a mess and her eyes were heavy.
"I'm feeling better."
"Good." I said.
Her voice was groggy, but it was still cute.
"Want to go get something for breakfast?" She asked.
"There's a IHOP like 10 minutes away. We can go there."
"That's a great idea." I told her.
"K let me just get dressed."
I walked out into the hall so Holly could get changed. Surprise, I'm not a perv.
She walked out into the hall, and looked amazing.
I grabbed her hand and walked her downstairs. We saw her mom cutting up fruit.
"Good morning kiddoes. I was about to give hayes a ride home last night, but you guys looked so comfy and cute. I couldn't wake you " said her mom. Her dad gave me the one eyebrow look and smiled.
"I'm Hayes by the way." I said to her father and shook his hand.
"Nice to meet you Hayes. I'm Holly's father." We both smiled.
"Well, me and Hayes are going to go out to breakfast. We'll be back soon." Holly said to her parents.
"Just take it easy ok honey. I don't want you to get hurt." Said her mom. Holly nodded
We walked out and started walking.
Maybe I should ask her out. Is it to soon tho? Thoughts shot through my head. I only had a month. Maybe I'll just do it at breakfast. I think she likes me. She did tell me she did.
"Let's just hope there won't be any crazy fangirl a at breakfast."she laughed and smiled at me.
"Don't worry. I'll protect you. I promise I won't let anyone lay a hand on you. If they try to, then they're not real fans." I squeezed her hand. I really do think I love her. Something about her just feel so right. She was just... Perfect.
We made it IHOP, and sat at a booth.
We got hot chocolates, and pancakes.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw a group of girls walking over to us. I quickly moved to the seat where Holly was sitting so these girls couldn't beat her up. I grabbed her hand and watched as they got closer.
"Hayes, what are you doing?" She asked.
"Making sure you don't get hurt again."
"Excuse me. Hayes? Can I get a picture?" One girl asked.
"As long as you don't beat her up." I said back.
"Of course we won't. We saw your tweet about her yesterday. I'm glad your ok Holly. That was awful what those girls did to you." Another said.
"Actually can we get a photo with you to?"
Holly nodded.
She took they're phones and took photos of us, and then I took photos of the girls and holly.
The girls thanked us and walked away.
"See those are real fans." I said to her.
"Hey holly, I have a question for you... Uh, w-will you um, will you be my girlfriend?" I asked. My heart was pounding out of my chest.
Before she could answer, our pancakes came.
Holly quickly grabbed the syrup. I was a little confused until she wrote YES on her pancakes with the syrup.
"You will?!"
"Of course. I really like you. But on one condition." She said with a smile.
"Anything."
"If this relationship doesn't work out, we will still be really good friends. Ok?"
"Yes I promise." We shook pinkies and laughed.
We finished our pancakes and I payed. Holly wanted to but I refused to let her.
We walked out hand in hand, and I just looked at her
"What?" She giggled.
"Your just so beautiful inside and out." I said.
She gave me a hug and I kissed her on the cheek. I really did love her. But I didn't want to tell her quite yet. I was afraid it would scare her off.
But I really did. I felt so lucky to have her.
