HEY...
Guess who wrote me..
Someone i didn't expect;
Of course.Do you still remember;
All the times we trekked,
Trekked home after the long rain,
And you couldn't cross puddles;
Created by the rain of course.I miss you;
Vehemently regretting the violent way,
The way we were so separated.
Times were hard!Hey!
All our memories are ruminants surely.
Surely i miss us,
And i miss back then.Hope you've grown tall?
'Cause i have too;
Taller than you i guess.Then how's everything?
Church?
Jamb?
And Layo?Church must be faring very well,
Very well without me.
After all i was forgotten;
Forgotten for months.And how's family?
Dad's still working?
Mum's put to bed alright?
Hope 'twas the baby boy i debated for.
Big brother, how's everything with him?
Is kiddo still bedwetting?Seriously;
You need to answer all.Hey!
Are we still best friends?HOW'S LAGOS??
The best of all friends;
I greet the big Lagosian.How is the big city?
The hustle bustle city.
The city of gloom,
Almost doomed by her own occupants."Keep Lagos clean";
Is this still a reality?
Sanitation and neglect are still twin sisters;
I can bet.How is politics in Lagos?
Lagos would surely be happy;
Her ageless grandfather is running again,
Running for Presidency.The motorcycle ban,
How about it?
Surely Lagos is fast growing.The ghost sights in Lagos;
Are the sites cleared?
Recovery must really be difficult;
20:10:20 in your mind, i know.The streets of Lagos,
Are they healed of bleeding?
The toll gate would always weep,
I know.How is the cosmopolitan city?
How is Lagos?How is my Lagos??
